Unless he somehow became lighter on his feet, he is barely an NHL defenseman. Simply cannot keep up with the speed of the game at this level.

Lucky *******. Unfortunately my work schedule will preclude me from going to any games this year...or even seeing them live for that matter.

Those were lines when team was skating without torts and richie didn't practice today. So too soon to consider it a set line

Reading that thread makes me want to gauge my eyes out. The main board is unbearable sometimes.

Silvferberg and Ottawa last season is an example.

Link to article in Swedish stating that coach Mårts could have denyed Silfverberg from going to Ottawa untill the WCH was played:

Yeah, I remember the game against the Penguins that I went to with Cartman27 and Crosby scored that ****ing goal off of Aaron Ward's leg to beat us. We lost 7-6.

He yelled out "You ****ing suck, Henrik!" as we left. I was like relax, that's crazy talk.

I'd like Winchester or Dvorak. Commodore, eh... not too sure about him. Won't be bothered if he shows up.

First Rangers Practice Finds Tortorella in Midseason Form
By JEFF Z. KLEIN
Published: January 13, 2013

Quote:
Customarily, a Tortorella camp opens with two straight days of grueling endurance and sprint skating, no sticks or pucks on the ice. But this year there is no time for that. Tortorella ran his players through passing drills, line rushes and controlled scrimmaging.

“We don’t want to injure them — if we did the amount of work that we did in a regular camp on the first day, we wouldn’t be able to play,” Tortorella said. “It’s a different dynamic this year.”

Is Marian Gaborik all the way back?

Is Derek Stepan ready for a role as No. 2 center?

Like I said before, people thinking Kreider is superior to Hagelin right now are fooling themselves. Check out the new Torts quotes coming out via Gross and Zipay.

I don't like Kreider playing with Boyle. I like Boyle, he's good at his role but he has the offensive creativity of a corpse. I think you'll see Kreider struggle big time playing with Boyle.

Here are some Kreider quotes from Torts
Quote:
Katie Strang ‏@KatieStrangESPN
#NYR Clear that Chris Kreider must earn spot with team, not expect one. Torts said there "better not be any illusions" but doubts there are.
Quote:
Andrew Gross ‏@AGrossRecord
Regarding Kreider, Torts says he does not believe Kreider has "illusions" that his spot his secure b/c of playoffs. "Better not be."
Quote:
Steve Zipay ‏@stevezipay
Torts says rookie Chris Kreider needs to push to earn spot on the team. "He has gifts" but must improve all-around game, he says
