No more season tix left

According to a rep I spoke with today, the rangers have reached their limit on season tickets. Not sure how many they cap it at? 12-14k. I think the Yankees cap it at around 35k.

Expect season ticket info around July 1.

I guess with all the tix the rangers are selling, this surely must be another one of dolans attendence fabrications.

season ticket renewals haven't been sent out yet so nothing is official yet on next year but at this point they have to assume that everyone is going to renew their season tickets since those people get first dibs on keeping their seats. but odds are against 100% renewal rate for a variety of reasons so i'd call back later in the summer to see if anything has opened up.

I paid ~$3100 for two in 300's this year. It will go up for next season.

abev...

is that $35-36 per ticket? Glad to see the prices around going up. 10 years ago they were $35. Five years ago they were $40.

In 1994 they were $23 and went to $25 the two years following the Stanley Cup.

tickets haven't gone up cause of all the playoff misses and then drop 10% last year...but now that we finally made the playoffs i'm expecting a 20% hike in prices so dolan can make up for the 7 years worth of increases he missed out on lol

any idea if this is just the full season package that has sold out? I had 2 seats on a micro plan (7 games) this season, and was hoping to do the same thing next season, but with a mini plan (14 games)..

it is odd that a rep would say they have reached their limit when the renewal packages haven't been sent out yet. they need to see who is cancelling before they can make those tickets available. so as others have mentioned anyone who is interested in season tix should call back later. but even that is no guarantee as they used to have a waiting list.

i'm guessing the season ticket renewal packages will arrive next week considering the first payment in the 6 installment program (for those who choose that payment option) is usually due on July 1st.

300's were 36.50 this year season tix price - 41.50 day of the game. We should expect up to a 10% increase overall.

What I was told is that they "are not accepting any more full season ticket orders at this time as they have reached their season tix subscribers limit."

Could that mean they have only 11k full season sold and need to re-evaluate if they need to raise the limit to 13k? Sure.

Does it mean there wil not be any more tickets available for full seasons? Not necessarily.

Whatever their limit is, its been reached. I am sure the limit could be adjusted by increasing the limit, reducing miniplans, and non renewals.

Who knows how much the rep actually knew, but seemed very knowledgable and took extra time to answer my questions.

They did say that they are re-evaluting their mini and micro plans and may change the number of games in the plans and possibly reducing the number of plans available.

None of this is set in stone. Mostly dependant upon how many renewals. But I just cant see many people not renewing unless there is a dramatic price increase (20%+?)

Should be easy to dump games for season ticket holders but I was looking to add an additional 2 tix to the 4 I have and from the sounds of it that looks like it will be tough to do.

it was $36.50 per game in the 300 level, where I sat. They just waive the "processing fee", which is something like $5 per ticket. in total it ended up being between $250 and $260 per seat for the season.

I'm shocked you ever had a hope of getting them. In a relatively small city like Vancouver there's a three year waiting list for season tickets and they barely leave any seats for non-season ticket holders.

Just hope that your team never goes 7 seasons without being playoffs....There used to be a 4-5 year waiting list in NY too.
