I really like Tinordi's chance of making this this. He is a big shutdown type of Dman in the making and with a limited ice time to start, I would be certain he would do well.

lol
Galchenyuk just scored a goal upstairs with an NHL caliber wrist shot that left Carey Price no chance.

The only way that a young player get a place, is buy winning it. The coach are in better position to juge than us. If Tinorti, or Galchenyuk or any get a place in the line-up is because the earn it!

That building on winning, with winners!

Tinordi should definitely be in the A. If you want him to be a a big, tough imposing defender in the future, it's not really smart to bring him in as a timid 20 year old first year pro. Let him gain a little strength and confidence and give him a shot next year.

Both Godin and Gagnon think Galchenyuk will stick around in the 2nd line with Plekanec and Gionta

François Gagnon has Gally on the second line.

Still, Tinordi hasnt quite adjusted to the AHL speed yet, some nights he looks like a pylon, there is no way the kid is even close to play a game with the Habs.. Nice prospect, nice project, but still a project at this point..

If Bourque gets motivated, that line of Moen Prust Bourque I can see easily becoming one of my favs to watch.

If he looks good this week I would be surprised if they don't give him 5 games to see how he looks in regular games. They have nothing to lose.

Yeah that could be a wrecking crew of a 3rd line. And they'd probably score the odd goal too.

The Bourque-Prust-Moen line would certainly look good... but Eller needs to have more than 4th line icetime..!

Bourque-Eller-Moen that is

There's no ''tough minutes'' line though, which is why I am skeptical it would be this.

We really need to trade Weber while he still has some value. I'm not convinced he will get enough of an opportunity to increase his value this year, especially if St. Denis makes the team.

Galchenyuk is going to have to play himself off the team IMO...he's at least gonna get 5 games. Book it

Plek and Gionta are more than adequate when it comes to defensive responsibility, especially Plekanec. It's one of the reasons why I see Gally as a fit on that line, that and the fact that he'll have more than enough opportunity to show his offensive talent.

Should also give him a good base in terms of how to conduct himself defensively as a forward at the NHL level.

I'm Guessing the Eller line..in which case Bourque is useless. Or if it's the Plekanec line, Galchenyuk will be outmatched. It might work if the DD line is sometimes given harder matchups, but that means expect their numbers to drop.

Or Gallagher is right and we are running the Lefebvre system, in which case lines mean nothing.
