Chicago needs a second line center right now. Bolland is capable, however, it leaves a big hole now at third line center.
If I were GM, I'd ask Chiarelli if Leddy and a 1st could get the conversation started. I would probably add a little bit to that if it really needed to be done. Nothing really substantial, though.
I'd understand why, but I wonder if he's replaceable now since Seguin is most likely the 1C in the foreseeable future, and they already have Bergeron, Peverley, and Kelly to fill that void.
I'd understand why, but isn't he quite replaceable now since Seguin is most likely the 1C in the foreseeable future, and they already have Bergeron, Peverley, and Kelly to fill that void?
I'm sure he is expendable, but they still want too much for him.
IIRC, they wanted Sharp in a trade for Krejci....LOL
Funny though, that fans of almost every team make posts trying to get Krejci. If anything, that should show you how many teams would be involved if he were available.
I'm done experimenting with PMDs on the Bruins. They don't fit the style of play. Also, picks and prospects don't help the Bruins
There is nobody on Chicago that would help the Bruins that they are willing to trade. We've been down this road before, they want to give up lesser players in a quantity for quality deal and they can't accept that we think Krejci is relatively similar in value to Patrick Sharp. To that they will say we a crazy, but it comes down to there is no deal to be had.

There's no need to move Seguin to center, and he'll be staying at RW unless a need comes up. Plus, moving Seguin to C makes a huge hole at RW. Peverley can play 2nd line RW, but he's much more useful and effective on the third. Horton's future is also uncertain here, so we're not trading Krejci just to move Seguin up.
I'd do Krejci for Sharp. He's great on the PP, a huge need, and is a high scoring winger that would make our offense one of the scariest in the league, for sure. I wouldn't mind moving Seguin up if we got a winger like Sharp, but not for anything else.
Lucic-Seguin-Sharp
Marchand-Bergeron-Horton
is an absolutely lethal top-6. Every player besides Bergeron, (who has an outside shot, he's done it before,) can score 30 goals. If Horton is moved, Marchand-Bergeron-Peverley is still a great line and Peverley's defensive play makes it even more elite defensively. I'd keep Horton as long as he's as good as he was pre-injury, though. Losing him makes our offense pretty soft.

Yup, and the price tag would be far too much for Chicago to even consider it.
I dont understand why you guys keep offering Boston prospects for Krejci. Boston isn't trying to dismantle there team and rebuild. They are in a "win now" mode.
