Seriously though. Brisebois head of player development? Ouff.

He's not head of development. Just a coach.

I have a hard time buying that article at face value. He had been hurt, and that does slow things down a bit development wise. let's not forget that he's played at 5 different levels in 5 years. His play in the NHL showed signs of what he was drafted for and perhaps some AHL time is helpful for him. Is this JUST because he didn't get a call up for training camp? There are going to be many callups due to injury and he will likely be one anyway.

I wonder if this article gets written by a station well known as "pro-francophone" (if you know what I mean) if his name was Jones?

But it served its purpose as an excellent advanced proper French learning tool.

The rubber bands theory, the facial expressions, etc... This sounds like something someone who doesn't have a clue and is watching from the outside would speculate...

I call partial BS, the part about him having a bad time (because of his bad play and lack of confidence) is obviously true.

Don't you think the Habs would be better today with Chris Kreider and Claude Giroux in the organization rather than have drafted Leblanc and David Fischer?
The fact that you added an obvious screw up Fischer over Giroux (and notably Timmins ONLY glaring mistake) in with Leblanc/Kreider suggests that you can't just suggest Leblanc vs Kreider on its own merits because you don't have enough confidence that it's clear. Personally I take Leblanc over Kreider today. We'll see in the long run though. The "Louis!" chant will become very popular at the Bell Centre. Count it.

Exactly. The guy is the new Rejean Tremblay wanna-be (God knows why?). Allo Police type of reporting, more suited for rumour sites than traditional media. He's not worth the time of day.

From the looks of it, Filosa talked to the Parents of Louis Leblanc and that's what gave him the 'brilliant' idea to make that text. You guys see drama where there isn't.

Yes the guy has been struggling, but Lefebvre seems happy with his game nonetheless.

And don't get me started on the Lefebvre haters. He plays with the cards he has in hand.

Not sure what people have against the rubber bands. Athletes do resistance runs/skates all the time to improve their power, it's somewhat similar. They're also a good rehab tool.

Thats the feel I got from the article... it has to come from someone way too involved emotionally with louis leblanc to be quoted word for word in a newspaper.

Some guy named P_Signore asked him the question "Is there ant truth to what is being written about leblanc being mishandle/mistreated?". To which Gagnon replied "I dont give any consideration to that story". It's just the way it gets mangled in plain-text that makes it look more confusing.

Thank you!

I created a Twitter account about 6 months ago because my boss said it was amusing. I lasted 3 days.

Article sounds kinda iffy. Seems like there's too much emotion there. I'm not buying it until a more reputable hockey journalist reports something similar.

Why does the other guy bring up the stanley cup ring right away? I've never seen this before but it reeks of jealousy.

I wonder if Filosa would have done an in depth report on Aaron Palushaj if say it was he who was complaining ? Probably not eh ?

Is that what you post each time a Quebec based media writes an article about someone born in Quebec?

This is a weir phenomenon... I am not targeting you personally here but, take me for instance: I vigorously defended Markov, Plekanec, Gionta, Subban... and no one accused me of being pro Russian, pro Czech, pro American or pro Canadian. However each times I praise a guy from Quebec, I will get a similar response than yours.

Weird phenomenon. Not offensive or anything.
Just plain weird.

This. Even R. Tremblay didn't picked up that story...

Aaron Palushaj is not a valuable prospect like Louis Leblanc.

Je ne comprends pas trop le rapport vu que je suis francophone !! But if you insist i have NOT like the Leblanc pick since day 1, the only reason was of him beong Quebecois and the draft being in mTL, RDS would have shut done from the riot.

Enrico Ciccone ‏@EnricoCiccone

For our anglo friends. Enrico says he talked to Louis' mom and she said he was disturbed by all the fuzz created by that article. He never said anything that was said in the article and he doesn't feel humiliated one bit by the coaches in Hamilton.
