Yeah I'm looking forward to Fedotenko. Last time my NYR supporting buddies were so annoyed about a player coming to Philly, we got Betts.

Conversely, those guys were pretty excited about us getting Shelley.

Schenn was paired with Coburn on the PK.

I'm sure it changes during the season because i don't think there is a way Coots doesn't kill penalties.

I hope Giroux's days of killing penalties are over. Unless its the playoffs and we need a shortie.

If Rinaldo can be a good-great PKer he may be a fixture on the 4th line this year. Its the only way I see him staying in the NHL.

Well Im sure Talbot and Feds stay together, With Coots, Read and Giroux filling it. Most likely trying to cut down hard minutes on Claude, although he is electric on the PK.

Yeah if Rinaldo can solidify his role as a PKer, he should have a spot secured around here for a while (cheap too). I am still holding out hope for a Rinaldo-Talbot-Sestito line. I know people aren't high on having Sestito AND Rinaldo, but I think that would be a pretty tough line to play against.

There are a lot of guys right now that have a "secured" job and aren't providing anything near what Rinaldo can provide.
There are not a lot of guys around like him and it's a valuable thing to have.

I meant leaguewide.

Rinaldo is a great skater, he's one of the better hitters in the game, he can fight at his size and because of his size he won't have the same problem guys like Shelley or Orr have finding opponents to drop the gloves with. Rinaldo is also not a liability defensively.

I really hope this kid can turn his career around and becomes what everyone expected when he was drafted. It will be huge from him to learn from some cerebral guys like Pronger and Timonen.

Ive stopped caring about Rinaldo. He's a 5 minute player who will run around hitting people, maybe draw a penalty or take one. I wouldnt care at all if someone took his spot though.

And I believe it lifts a team to have those 5min of energy.

This team has a lot of problems if a 5 minute 4th liner is the one giving you energy to win.
