To Philly:

Brewer

To Edmonton:

Woywitka
Chouinard

Edmonton has no incentive to do the deal. Seidenberg and Chouinard are two mid-range prospects and definitely not enough for a 24 year old #2/3 defenseman. Having seen Chouinard in the Canadiens system, I feel he is never going to be close to an impact player in the NHL.

Something along these lines, and if we are going to deal big with Philly, I could see Comrie going in there somewhere too, with Lapointe out for a while:

Comrie and Brewer For Woywitka and Williams

Williams would be a definate improvement on the 3rd line RW. Then follow it up with this trade:

Laraque and Chimera For Vishnevsky (+?)

New lines :

Smyth-York-Hemsky
Isbister-Oates-Dvorak
Moreau-Reasoner-Williams
Torres-Stoll-Pisani

Smith-Staios
Cross-Semenov
Vishnevsky-Bergeron

PB: Horcoff, Fergusson

Woywitka gets the rest of the season logging a ton of ice time in TO, and is ready to take a roster spot next season when Smith possibly departs this season via trade/free agency. Thoughts?
