Did someone really ask Galchenyuk about the Gomez situation yesterday?

Wow.

Yes, in relation to possibly opening up a spot for him at center.

To which he replied that he had no clue about the situation, that he just got here and wanted to play hockey, learn and help the team.

Gally acts like it's no big deal. Heh.
How come when I try that I lose the puck or fall down or both?

Oh right because I'm fat, old and have no talent.

I agree that Galchenyuk would seem to have little left to learn in the OHL, but if he does hit a wall and stop producing and get gassed halfway through the year, I'd rather it happen in Sarnia than in Montreal.
That will never happen in the OHL (he's too far ahead of the pack) and that is something he has to learn to overcome in the NHL.

Everything at the boutique was 25% off last week, up until yesterday. Where did you get the 50% off from?

I also want a jersey but just waiting on the official number!

I see, I didn't hear the second part of the question. Still an odd question to ask him directly IMO.

In the last 17 games in OHL, Galchenyuk has maintained an impressive 2.35 ppg. In the last 29 games, he has 2 ppg.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...2dHRueGc#gid=1

When compared to the previous top OHL players, Galchenyuk ranks higher than Stamkos, Seguin, Nash and some other players.

I'd like to know where all the people who said that Galchenyuk's skating needed "major work" are at? Seems that Michel Therrien disagrees with you?

After Gaston Therrien, here's another funny comment about the great Pierre McGuire. Saying that Galchenyuk lost his spot to JT Miller, a left winger, demonstrating that he didn't have that great of a tournament. I also happen to think that it wasn't an incredible tournament for Galchenyuk, but can't believe that a prospect lover like McGuire would mention that he lost his spot to Miller. First, Miller does play both positions, like Gally. So McGuire mentioning that Gally lost a center spot to a winger was uncalled for. As Gally, also, lately, was playing more the wings than at the center position. Then, it was absolutely NORMAL than a guy like Miller, with some AHL experience, be higher on the depth chart.

And when you look at all the exhibition games that the US played....I'd love to know what was Miller great offensive accomplishments that surpassed so much Gally. I mean he had his points, but so did Gally. Thing is Housley had already started to think that Miller would be the centerman, and it's possible that Kuraly was doing real good, and Housely couldn't see Kuraly on the wings but had no problem with Gally there.

With Gomer out i think gally gets a crack at playing with Pleks and Gionta for the first 5 games and if he produces he stays as simple as that.

Here is how i see the lines

Cole Desharnais Patches
Gionta Plekanec Gally
Bourque Eller Armstrong ( that line could be teriffic if Armstrong plays at 50% of what he was under therrien in Pits)
Moen White Prust

Well that wouldn't be surprising, the question remains wether he'll play the full season with us or go back to Sarnia after his 6 game stint.

You are not far from the true, but if I am not mistaken, you need to switch Cole, Gionta and Moen to the right wing

Yeah i know i just don't take the time to think which position they play i just put the names on the lines.

Like i said Yakupov has nothing on Gally so why wouldn't he play? He is nhl ready stop babysitting the kid we all know he is 18 but if anything he would be a welcome boost to our offense we don,t excpect him to carry the team there are players paid 4-6 millions for that.

Well, I have not seen with my own eyes the Convention for the ELC rules for 2013-2014, but here is a quote from the NHL site:

"With no exhibition games on the schedule, evaluating Galchenyuk's potential to play in the NHL prior to opening night Saturday will be difficult for Therrien and Canadiens management. For that reason, it's likely that Galchenyuk gets a five-game tryout before a decision is made whether to send him back to the Sarnia Sting of the Ontario Hockey League or to keep him and burn a year of his entry level contract."

here is the link:

I was gonna post something in regards to that. It pisses me off that nobody corrects him. Honestly, half the stuff that comes out of McGuire's mouth (especially recently) is false...especially about the Canadiens. Plus the way he was saying it was so smug...You'd think somebody that says this stuff would check his facts first.
