Meh.
Versatile fantasy player though, PIMs + points is a good thing not to mention Phoenix probably gets him to the show fairly quickly IMO.

Just a quick poll/question to everyone: are you guys enjoying the entry draft and the ability to carry these players in a minor league system? Or would you prefer to phase this out and include rookies in the regular free agent draft we do?

To be honest, I'm unsure how this works, how to track it, and how long we have the rights to these players.

I haven't had time to delve into the CBA yet this year.

It looks like not many care, maybe because 2012 was a poopy draft.

I'm not sure yet...I like the idea of having some sort of "development roster" though...where we can keep 4-5 prospects and have it be a farm team of sorts...I'm just not sure how viable it is with the current yahoo system.

Right now essentially we can keep 10 players on our farm team, and the limit per player is 4 years. So for this year many people won't even come close to those numbers unless its via trade.

I've spoken to Bill about it and he feels we should at least scale the amount of years back a bit to perhaps 2.

All the tracking will be kept off-site. I think the biggest adjustment will be seeing players in the system as UFA who actually are owned by other teams, although this is also the case for LTIR players in our league as well.

I'm wondering how you move the players from "off site" into your rosters when you want/need them there?

That's one way...the other way would be to walk 500 miles, then walk 500 more....

I'll take Tim Bozon.

Under 3 hours left until the draft. Are you prepared?

Beatdown? You beat me by a category, a category separated by a mere percentage point. I will have my revenge!

So how does the draft work? Will there be a page on the league site where it takes place live?

On the main page (standings page) at 8pm there will be a link to enter the live draft. That only comes up 30 minutes prior to the draft time. Just click the link and the draft application will load.

I like the minor league system, it gives an extra draft, more variety, more tradeable assets.

Since we are talking about preferences.

What do you guys think about the current league roster positions?

I think that a couple of extra spots (utility), instead of so many benches would be good. Right now I feel a bunch of player's stats are wasted on the benches.

If you are around and in the draft, you're going to want to log in...the draft commences in 11 minutes.

Sorry I missed the draft, but I made my pre-draft rankings and got a lot of solid players so I'm pretty happy with how the team made out.
