I like this signing
Enforcers belong to NHL.

Good luck. He could actually be an almost passable NHLer if he wasn't so dumb when it comes to taking penalties.

PL3 is what we used for short.
He pretty much jumped a guy when he was on the Devils. Never played a game for them after that and was traded for a 5th rounder.
Definitely on the "tougher" side.

I don't think so. Staubitz can actually skate. PLLL can't. He's only good for jumping people. If he makes the team he'll be in contention for most useless player in the league.

I don't think we signed him to center our second line.

Much needed toughness. He will dress up here and there and it's two way contract, no harm here.

He is old school enforcer material... no way is he better than Staubitz. PL3 wasn't even a player in junior, straight goon from Day 1. Staubitz may not be a very intimidating heavyweight or anything, but he can put in an honest effort and forecheck on a 4th line, at least. PL3 probably got some good weightlifting in during the lockout and looks impressive or something, but I doubt he can do anything on the ice?

Yeah... that was against Boudreau's Caps. And iirc, Boudreau was pretty pissed about it too. Odd that they're being reunited this way.

I'm pretty sure he is on his way to the AHL, which means Rosehill is probably looking for a job right now. Fatty won't be playing him.
