Sorry to go off topic, but I find it sad that Lars Eller's English is better than MT's

Galchenyuk has heart and brain, which AK never had.

Dorothy would have only needed AK for a companion.

I ****ing love Alex Galchenyuk. I remember that initially I wanted Grigorenko but now I'm so happy that King Timmins selected AG.

Best forward of the draft. Yep, better than Yakupov. Come at me.

Best part of that video, seeing Galchenyuk slide closer to Gionta while on the bench, to ask a question.

Probably feels a bit like Weber did when Subban showed up for the first time... Hopefully he makes a strong case for a top 2 C position or at the very least solidifies his 3 C spot this season

Well, I've been saying it since last February while Galchenyuk was hurt. Not a pat in the back for me, I just think Galchenyuk global personality will make him the best player over the long term. Yakupov will be better in the short term, if only because of the fitness level. (Not to say Gal is not fit at this point, but an injury is an injury and it takes about 18 months to fully be over it.)

Nobody talks about Eller in this camp, while everybody should. Just going to say this: he's much stronger and it will change his game quite a bit. He can take his place at center full time now and that's a big step for him, next step will be to contribute offensively and that will depend on his surroundings. A good competition between Gal and Bourque will help Eller a lot. I wish they would give a chance to Gallagher on the RW...Id rather have White sitting in the stands...

Maxpac-Desharnais-Cole
Galchenyuk-Pleks-Gionta
Bourque - Eller - Gallagher
Prust - Armstrong - Moen

Yes...I want scoring pressure up the lineup more than 2 defensive lines...because we mostly lost last year by a bunch of 1 goal games due to very sad winger performance(that also had a big effect on Pleks). Bourque and Gionta need to be a lot more accountable and feel the pressure constantly from the young guns.

Eller is my breakout player of the year for the Habs, I have a feeling that we will be a 30+ point player this year and play a solid 2 way game, also predict that if we aren't a playoff team by trade deadline Plekanec gets traded to make room for Eller in our top 6 at center.

Eller scored 28pts last year. So, he was borderline a 30pt player last season already (unless you meant over 48games). Therrien even said he's expecting a bigger year from him, the only thing I'm hoping for is that he isn't limited to 3rd line duties with no PP time. If that's the case he won't outproduce himself by much, especially if he's paired with grinders like Moen-Armstrong. I'm hoping for a .5ppg average.

I think he meant 30 pts in this shortened 48-game season. Over 82 games, 30 pts is aiming way too low
