Dwight King isnt as tough as people originally thought.

Hes not a fighter like his brother

Yet he easily handled Crombeen, and the fight had the complete opposite effect it was intended to.

Its why regular season "code mentality" doesnt work in the play-offs if you dont pick your spots right. This needed to happen either in the last game, or before you are down 1-0.

And im aware Crombeen challenged king last game. But you cant wait the entire game until you know you are gonna lose, and then try to get revenge in the final 3 minutes.

Considering King isn't a goon/fighter and played mostly on the Kings 2nd line he has done very fine in his first fight, even had advantage in the hug fest and had a takedown.
In the AHL he hasn't fought a lot either and was usually on the winning side of the battle.

I would say he's quite tough.

Is it just me or does BJ Crombeen have a punch me face.

Every fight Ive seen this supposed tough guy in, he loses.

Hes known as Bieksas punching bag for a reason.

Like some have pointed out already. This is a very weird response.

I was actually quite surprised King held his own in this fight. To be honest, I thought he would never drop the gloves with Crombeen who at least drops the gloves so now and then.

Heck, it looked like King was the only who tried to deliver some punches in this hugfest.

Dwight King is very young and only will get stronger, he's not even a fighter, he's just more of a power forward, he actually does have skill to make plays, good hockey i.q, I think he led the Saskatchewan AAA hockey league back when he was drafted 4th overall into the WHL.

I'm sure his older brother can teach him a few things when it comes to dropping the mitts though. I'm sure B.J knew what to expect playing with D.J on the Blues a few years back though, understanding the King boys are capable of holding their own.

Yeah, I remember more than one person had him pegged as one of the next great heavies. He was also supposed to be a passable fourth liner.

He declined Steve MacIntyre last season, when he was on the Hershey Bears.

I'd say Crombeen has improved in the fighting department over the years, but regardless, Bieksa is 1-1 against him.

Yeah Crombeen is willing but when it comes to actually throwing punches he's a pretty bad fighter.

I have a feeling some of you dont realize this was posted 8 months ago.

It was the story behind it. The fight wasnt much.
