Justin Falk (MIN) to Ottawa

I've liked what I've seen from Falk the few games I actually got to see him play. Big D-man who can skate, hit, and play the PK- ideally a 3rd pairing guy, but with Ottawa's D right now he could even skate with Gonchar on the 2nd.

What would it take to make this happen?

As far as value, probably not much.

But given how banged up the Wild are on defense, they can not afford to trade away any healthy defenders at this time.

Thanks. I didn't realize you guys were so depleted back there, too.

Maybe I'll bump this when you're healthy again.

Once we're healthy, maybe a 3rd rounder?

I think Fletcher would move him for a 2nd or a 3rd Rounder.

He still needs to free up a contract spot.

Falk would go for a 2nd, definitely.

crap...i couldn't argue against trading him if there is interest but I do think he's going to have a good year.

I would trade a 3rd no problem- a 2nd might be too rich, but it's not far off.

Not sure how other Sens fans would feel about that, but I like his game a lot.

Well we don't have a 2nd rounder this year but I'd be fine with giving up a 3rd for him.

If only it was for Prosser and not Falk. Based on Fletcher's recent comment I'm actually interested in seeing how Falk performs this season. That being said I like Stoner more than Falk and they both serve pretty much the same purpose. If Stoner could only stay healthy I'd gladly ditch Falk for a 2nd. As of right now though, the Wild are indeed pretty banged up and I don't see us trading away a d-man, but rather trading for one.
