pretty tough.

first off ticketmaster doesn't release much, if they do it's in corners or last few rows of the 400s which can be obstructed views

plus they charge regular season face value + like $16 in fees per ticket, honestly you're better off buying from a season ticket holder on here if possible

It seems way worse with the Rangers than the Yankees though. I was able to get great playoff Yankees tickets on SH for around $60 multiple times. Behind home plate in the 3-4 row of section of the upper deck near the balcony. But for Rangers tickets the prices just seem crazy.

yea its a shame because it keeps most of the fans my age (early 20s) and younger from being able to even go a game, when my friends and I are easily able to go to Yankees playoffs games.

Do ticket prices on SH tend to go down the last few hours before a game like they do sometimes for other sports?

I saw it happen a bit during the Rangers playoffs this year but wasn't sure if it was a common occurrence.

That and you have 81 home games for the Yanks, only 41 on a regular year for the Rangers. Plus, Yankees fans do not see the first round and early LCS games as something special. I know Yankees fans who won't go to a play-off game during the week even if it is free because the games don't start til 8:30, don't end until after 12, and then they don't get home until 2am. Finally, they have made all of their tickets in the regular season so expensive, they have just turned people off.

Need TWO tickets for 2/17 Capitals game

I just tried getting tickets with the (SEASON) pw...can't get a pair for under $400.

I want a pair for the Capitals game on 2/17. I am open to anything up to $125 (prefer lower $100s or upper $90s). I might be able to stretch to $175 but really $125 is much better.

Please PM.

They are on the crazy side, but it could be worse. The Knicks are at the far end of the crazy meter. They use dynamic pricing, so for example my $45 season tickets are being sold by them at the box office for $170 for the most popular games. For the Bulls game last Friday, you couldn't find tickets for under $160 on stubhub. I can't begin to image what NBA championship tickets would go for. I bet $1000 would be needed to get in the door

Hey guys, we are planning an NHL trip to the New York area from Switzerland. We would love to catch games at Rangers, Islanders ans Devils.

Now we wanna be sure to have tickets before we leave our country. Can anyone of you guys tell me the best way to get tickets to a Rangers game? We would like to see Pittburgh @ Rangers on April 3.

Any advise would be appreciated!

I am a season ticket holder as well. I have some games I need to sell because I can't go. My 2 seats are 4th row of 227, aisle seats (226/227 aisle) on the corner of the rink where the visitors shoot twice. Just PM me if you are looking for tickets. Games that are definitely available are below.

Feb 14 - Islanders
Feb 28 - Lightning
Mar 18 - Hurricanes
Apr 21 - Devils

Sure you can, unless I'm misunderstanding the question or if its different than the regular ticket transfer function on ticketmaster. If I have concert tickets and want to email them to someone, I transfer them to myself. Once I accept I can put any name and address I want and then print the tickets with that name to a PDF. I assume it works the same for rangers tickets. Pretty sure I was able to do hat for knick tickets.

Don't take my word for it, log into your account and look for yourself. You have a print option, or a forward option. The forward option becomes somebody else's print option.
