No I didn't. Last year them making the playoffs was pathetic and winning a playoff game was even worse. It added to the Tebow hype that was squashed this year. I can't be more happy that a player failed as much as Tebow. I guess it's not his fault the media fell in love with him. He just isn't a professional QB, and wonder who will give him a 3rd shot. The only thing I can say is he deserves a chance at redemption.

I was being sarcasting by the way. I said that Tebow was my favourite player. I never said he was the best, or was better than another QB. (Except Sanchez, How can you be worse than that )

Argos fan coming in peace just wanting to pass along some info. Just listening to TSN 1050 and James Cybulski just said that reports are saying the Bears are expected to name their new head coach tomorrow and Trestman is the heavy heavy favourite.

Got a feeling too that Trestman is done at CFL level and really wants to go back to the NFL as head coach or assistant.

It will be interesting to see who the Als will hire to replace him. With Popp still gm, I guess he's gonna go for another American. But I would like him to make an effort to find a Canadian one. Thre is a very competent coach down Highway 20 in Quebec City at Laval U...

Whatever happens, losing Trestman is going to hurt. Leave it to Jim Popp to surprise us. Who is Kevin BTW?

Don't want to jump the gun....but who might be the candidates for coaching job if he goes? Who are your favorites? Will Popp go again in the US and find us the new Treastman?

So long, Mark. I guess I'll have to become a Bears fan now.

Best Alouettes coach (post-Baltimore era) for me, and by far.

I would think that Jacques Chapdelaine has to be considered for the job and also Chris Jones and maybe Danny Maciocia. Maybe Popp goes off the board again and finds a good replacement in the USA. Hopefully we don't lose Popp too...that would REALLY suck.

Confirmed by the Bears according to http://www.985sports.ca/football/nou...an-201176.html

At least they did not lose Popp!

200% sure Maciocia and Constentin won't even consider the offer.

Talked with Maciocia last spring (football formation) he came back for family reason. Too much work in the CFL.

Thorpe is a great coach by the way he could get the HC position (can speak in french but very limited)

Tough loss for us, but I'm happy for him! I'm far from being a Bears fan, but I'll definately follow them a little more now!

#Alouettes release Brian Bratton, Adrian McPherson and Trent Guy.

Shouldn't have dropped that pass Brian. Good luck Adrian. Trent who? Any relation to Ray?

Would be fun for a change to have a REAL threat that returns kicks and punts. I mean, we let 2 guys like that go....possible we get another one?
