This way you are rewarded for creating multiple GDTs even if you're bad luck and really shouldn't be creating them in the first place.
Have at it people.

I'd be interested in doing this but I'm not sure what I'd be doing. Can someone please explain?
EDIT: Does GDT stand for Game Day Thread? If that is what is I'll take the home opener against Phoenix.
Yes, it does. People usually make creative Photoshops in the opening post. I've made GDTs before, but everyone could tell you that mine are lame (since I don't know Photoshop).

Thanks. Good thing I just learned how to do photoshop this year. The only problem I might have is posting the picture since I haven't posted a picture on HF yet lol.
Off topic, but do we not have an avatar draft this year? Did I make a GDT last season for nothing?
Without a season being guaranteed, I didn't make any avatars yet. I picked up the GDT thread from last season after Markus went MIA. As you know, he handled the draft with his avatars. I'm currently chugging away at making this last-minute (for me)GDT, so if I do make avatars, they'll have to wait.
Besides, shouldn't a pat on the back be enough? That's all I ever get out of 'em

Yarp, I'm cramming to get this thing done in time.

.
We should just wait till next season and add all the GDT points from this one and last years to rank the Avatar draft for the 2013-2014 season.
Ugh... Time to play around on Photoshop to try and re-learn all the things I've forgotten during this long offseason. Maybe I should have done some GDTs on the KHL boards during the lockout?
the painter in me wants to subject you all to my awf...er, awesome skills, the bitter nhl fan in me wants to do just a shade over 50% of the necessary work for a gdt.
I'm going to bring this info over here from last year's GDT thread because it was invaluable to me last year and I imagine others might need it also. Big thanks to Slo, Markus and Sacto for this info.

Awesome man. I was looking for some tips on GDT's. I am very comfortable with scripting/programming and what not but never made a GDT so was not sure how to go about it. Will use this to give it a few attempts to see if I am confident enough to volunteer for one.
