Was there anything on revenue sharing changes?

Are the Isles eligible to receive revenue sharing?
Yes, NYI are eligible to receive revenue sharing.

From the business board -

Revenue Sharing Eligibility
- Teams in a DMA over 3 million households (currently NY, LA, Chicago, Toronto) can now receive up to 50% of a full share. So the Islanders can receive revenue sharing. Previous CBA no team in a market over 2.5 million households could receive any revenue sharing.

There's even an Oversight Committee making sure rev sharing is earned not just given. Should be interesting to see Wang comply -

Revenue Sharing Oversight Committee:
- New committee created "The RSOC will consist of three (3) members chosen by the NHLPA (including at least 1 Player) and four (4) members chosen by the Commissioner, including a Chairman (and also including at least 1 Owner). The Commissioner of the NHL and the Executive Director of the NHLPA shall serve as ex-officio members of the RSOC with all rights and privileges of a RSOC member, except voting rights."
- Committee has authority to review various club financial reporting, but not 100% guaranteed access to all business related books.
- Committee can vote to increase or decrease a particular team's revenue sharing distribution by up to 15%.

So, as others reported, Gomez and Redden and any player for that matter can get an "accelerated compliance buyout" before Saturday's opener

Must be done by Thursday.

Both will get picked up if bought out. Probably league minimum or $1mil.

That is what i was just about to post. I think they both would get picked up some how from some team. These players might not have a huge list of teams asking but i think someone would take the chance. However i think they can get slightly more than 1M.
I could see someone going with 1.5 for Gomez and maybe 2M for redden

You'll have more time for bathroom and concessions; all #NHL intermissions now 18 mins (was 17). On-ice silliness reduced to 4 mins (from 5)
