10%. Plus you don't have to play around with sending tickets unlike Stubhub.

You're right, definitely misunderstood the other person. What confused me was ticket transfer which is a new function on ticketmaster that lets you do what I said. I thought that's what was being referred to. But it seems that the account manager really hasn't changed much from last year.

Pair of tickets to the home opener in section 206 row 1. Gallery seats in the front row with the tv right in front and extra leg room. Highest offer gets them!

Any word on a TN price floor yet? Knicks have a $10 floor, people expect the Yankees to set the floor at face (dumb)

Doesn't stub hub charge a service fee also?

So correct me if I'm wrong, stub hub takes commission of what you sell PLUS a service fee to the buyer?? They must make money hand over fist

They take 25% of the transaction. In the early days it was warranted because of the huge fraud involved with counterfeit tickets because they would be on the hook for 100% of the cost to make the buyer whole. But these days the vast vast majority of transactions are legit and they are printing a mint (goes straight to ebay shareholders)

There's no competition because every other ticket reselling website sucks big donkey balls

Yea I thought so, so you can tack on an extra ~$10 per ticket in just service fees if you're buying from them. I just didn't know they were taking a percentage from the seller too. Sounds like stub hub isn't doing too bad for themselves

On the ticketexchange it was face, can't imagine this will be any different. Yankees have these fantasies of the value of their tickets. They can't handle that they greatly over-estimated the demand for their tickets. My brother in law, has gone to about 30 games each of the past 3 years and has never once paid face value. Always pays under, and usually less than $5/ticket. If the prices change this year, he won't go.

Knicks also used to have a floor of face on TE, but after they moved to TN they changed that policy to better compete with stubhub

Interesting. However, I don't think it is going to be an issue for either team this season.

I'm pulling up West Balcony bar stool seats for the home opener on Ticketmaster. $230ish for the pair including fees for those looking on Ticketmaster.

Edit - Now no pair in the building is popping up.
