Evans is a monster 16 rebounds in the first half, only one shy of the record.

I don't think even KG would go that far. Pretty sure his mom isn't alive either. He was crying for her after he won a title.

Reggie Evans ends with 23 rebounds despite getting yanked in the 3rd quarter because the game was out of reach.

Carlesimo is 6-1 as Nets coach, and 4 of the Nets 5 biggest wins have come in that stretch (CHA by 16, OKC by 17, SAC by 20, and now PHI by 20.)

Nets have scored at least 109 in each of the last 4 games.

Taylor turned it over 4 times or so in the 4th quarter Evans was a beast, he would have had 30 rebounds with more playing time. I think he was the key factor tonight, especially in the 3rd. Now I hope they can hold it up and stay healthy. We were 11-4 with Avery and then Lopez got hurt. 6-1 now is nice, but they need to keep it up.

Agreed.

His "Anything is possible" attention grab scream is the most scripted, forced and awkward celebration in sport.

Such a drama queen. Like most NBA players though.

Definitely a dbag and the mom comment is definitely too far, but if anyone told me my girl tastes like honey nut cheerios I would laugh my ass off. Clearly Carmelo wasn't so amused, shot like crap, and lost the game, so KG's gameplan worked.

KG is a punk but Carmelo is a huge baby.

I think my reaction would depend entirely upon the kind of cereal. Honey nut cheerios is ok, but ehhh... I would be mildly offended she felt that she was so generic. Say a cinnamon toast crunch or cocoa puffs and I would feel much better about it/more like to laugh at it. Hell, that might even be a source of pride. Pick one of those ridiculously bland no-name knock off brands and its time to throw down.

Lebron's 33 game streak of 20+ points is over. Blazers did a great job containing him even though he was one assist shy of a triple double.

Erik Spoelstra has no idea how to coach basketball though. Lebron, Wade, Bosh, and Ray Allen on the court, and he draws up a play to get Mario Chalmers a 3 point look while down 2. Chalmers had taken 1 shot up until that point.

Spoelstra just looks so lost no matter what the situation is.

Nets 7-1 under PJ. 5 wins straight, 3 straight by 20+ for the first time since the merger.

The Nets are on the rise. The Knicks in a slump. Only two games back of them.

Nets got real banged up tonight. Stackhouse and Hump were already out, Teletovic had the flu, Wallace got destroyed, D-Will hurt his thigh, and Blatche hurt his wrist late. Hopefully all these guys are back soon.

Yay, I can stop caring a little bit about basketball lol.

That was a nasty foul on Wallace though. Did it end up as a technical?

Nope, not even a flagrant. Just a normal shooting foul. There was no contact to the head and Tucker was playing the ball. It's just a hard foul that Wallace happened to get hurt on.

Fouls were in the Nets favor all night. Free throws were 32-16 and I think half of Phoenix's free throws came in the 4th quarter. Nets didn't get called for a foul until midway through the 2nd.

Great game tonight.

Lackluster first half, but it was raining in Barclays Center during the second half. Blatche and Brooks were huge off the bench.

Beyond expensive and paid a **** ton to commute from NJ Transit, PATH and MTA subway. Jeez.

Harlem shake is last week. Heat are tools. NBA as a league is a turd.

But I just saw it this morning, pretty funny.

This is such BS! All the training and sacrifice just flew out the window with one step that I've done millions of times! The frustration is unbearable. The anger is rage. Why the hell did this happen ?!? Makes no damn sense. Now I'm supposed to come back from this and be the same player Or better at 35?!? How in the world am I supposed to do that?? I have NO CLUE. Do I have the consistent will to overcome this thing? Maybe I should break out the rocking chair and reminisce on the career that was. Maybe this is how my book ends. Maybe Father Time has defeated me...Then again maybe not! It's 3:30am, my foot feels like dead weight, my head is spinning from the pain meds and I'm wide awake. Forgive my Venting but what's the purpose of social media if I won't bring it to you Real No Image?? Feels good to vent, let it out. To feel as if THIS is the WORST thing EVER! Because After ALL the venting, a real perspective sets in. There are far greater issues/challenges in the world then a torn achilles. Stop feeling sorry for yourself, find the silver lining and get to work with the same belief, same drive and same conviction as ever. One day, the beginning of a new career journey will commence. Today is NOT that day.

"If you see me in a fight with a bear, prey for the bear". Ive always loved that quote. Thats "mamba mentality" we don't quit, we don't cower, we don't run. We endure and conquer. I know it's a long post but I'm Facebook Venting LOL. Maybe now I can actually get some sleep and be excited for surgery tomorrow. First step of a new challenge. Guess I will be Coach Vino the rest of this season. I have faith in my teammates. They will come thru. Thank you for all your prayers and support. Much Love Always.
Mamba Out
