El Shaarawy, simply because he's more proven.

Andy Carroll or Fernando Torres?

Carroll, he's a solid plan B and gets more **** than he deserves, he's more skilled than Gomez, even if he isn't as lethal.

Vermaelen or Kocielny.

Cantona. Whilst he could create problems in the dressing room, his positive influence on the young players at Man U should never be forgotten.

I think Arsenal win the 97/98 double with Cantona, but with Bergkamp at Old Trafford, Newcastle win the EPL in 95/96.

So you'd take Adu over Pele?

Please, El Sha is pretty good, has had a great first half, but Neymar is probably the most impressive U21 players.

ElSha has scored 16 goals in 45 Serie A games.
Neymar has scored 54 goals and 24 assists in 101 career games with Santos.

The key words there being for santos. In the liberatoderes he's struggled when finally facing the kind of tight marking that SES faces every week. I'd take Neymar over SES, but that is because of pure talent rather than what either one has proven yet.

Pretty tough but i'd have to say Messi. Ronaldo suffered some pretty bad injuries throughout his career.

Theirry Henry or Dennis Bergkamp?

Henry.

Time for a biggy.

Klopp (Total ****ing badass) or Guardiola (Coaches don't have to play one style)

Would like to actually see more than one person answer though!

Bergkamp was my favourite player, but Henry was better.

Kluivert or Litmanen (Go Ajax 95!!)

I don’t care how good his team was, the record Pep put together is simply insane. I’ll change my mind if he falls flat on his face at Bayern, but until that happens, I’m going with Pep.

Agree on Bergkamp v Henry.

Litmanen. I wouldn't trust Kluivert to tie his own shoelaces without supervision.

Guardiola over Klopp.

I forgot he had a spell at Newcastle...which I'd imagine you might wish you could have forgotten...

Pep's accomplished more so far, but I prefer to watch Klopp's teams play. It's a real toss up but I go with Kloppo

He produced some fabulous moments, but 17 games out of 38 says it all.

That said, various bar owners in Jesmond wept bitter tears the day he slouched off into the sunset.

What's the current comparison?

Mandzukic vs. Giroud

I'll never forget a story I once heard about Patrick. This woman had a one night stand with the football player and decided to keep his condom in the freezer. If she ever ended up having financial troubles, she had a way to get money.

He helped them win a Libertadores and was even MotM in the last match. I'm not some fan, but tough to argue against him, especially at this moment in time when the comparison is el Shaarway.
