My Dad had a '72 Chevelle back in the day. I think it went into the demolition derby at the Erie County Fair after it rotted away from the road salt. Secret weapon? Hornets that had taken up residence in the rear window wells.

But in a straight line, it was a beast.

There's a mildly entertaining zamboni driving game on the google homepage today. Didn't make it out of the first hockey level.

After our upgrade to our system yesterday I how have the ability to log in and view live streams and the recorded footage of the camera system at my store. I don't know if this is a horrible thing or a great thing.

What happens when someone steals your stolen goods? Do you enjoy that?

Well, it depends on what your employees do when you're not there...if they pull any Clerks II sort of business...

I was frustrated when my kids' mom was trying to stop me from coaching my middle one's soccer team.

My day brightened considerably when I received a copy of the letter that my lawyer is sending her lawyer.

Now I hope I can shop for dinner and my daughter's birthday tonight and get everything I need.

My shop is for my parking lot business so its mechanics that work on the sweepers and pavers, not so much cars though we don't have any problems throwing a crate engine into something. Any non-mechanical stuff I outsource.

To tell you the truth OG, I don't know what's under the hood. All I know is my dad called screaming at me that I needed to put in a bid as a matching numbers Chevelle SS with full documentation was going across the stage at Barrett Jackson.

I have some crap I have to deal with this weekend or I'd have been in Scottsdale...so anyways, I logged in, placed my bid at 39k and a minute later it was mine, mine, mine. From the little I saw of the car, the only non-original item was a hurst shifter but the original one was in the trunk.

I was in Palm Beach last month for an auction and the classic muscle cars without numbers or documentations were going for 80k + so I didn't bite.

Those are insane prices. Ther's guys on the camaro forums I haunt that will sell you restored/updated (think new crate motors, interior and safelty equipment, suspension, etc.) for that kind of cash.

The cars did come from a private collection where the guy would strip them down and totally restore them every thousand miles or so and he had a lot of cars. A couple of the Camaros he had went to 120k+. I dropped out of the bidding, way, way, way before then.

For 40-50k, I could easily pick up a dinged / dented late 60s muscle and drop in a new crate, tranny, redo the interior, smooth / bondo the exterior and hit it with a show quality finish. That's why this Chevelle was such a steal at 39k, the owner screwed up sending it across the block on Tuesday when the big money is Thurs-Sat and resto mods will be in the 70s...he probably cost himself at least 50k off the price.

I'll keep an eye on the auction today and sunday since they're the reasonable days, and I would still dearly like to get a mid 60s vette or another muscle car but as a rag top.

I have DirecTV and a iphone (and the app), going out of town next week and was wondering if there is a way for me to watch the Sabre games on MSG (I know I can get the NBC game against the Flyers on Sunday)

Thanks (and sorry about the semi hockey talk in the OT)

I tried it four times. All four times I can't get past the first hockey players level

I wish I had a ps3 controller instead of the directional keys

I did the hockey stuff and on the third one, it glitched out on me. There was nothing left to clean and it didn't move on. 330 points.
