Snagged a young 89/max-1 d-man, and have one more d-man in my sights. More than intended this season, but hey I'll take what's available. Really need to concentrate on a center and a wing (maybe two) now.
17yo, showing ?91, but I just finished my scouting of him and he is unfortunately only 81/94.
I was thinking about selling him after seeing that, but I want to get your input on where the market is at with a player of his level. thanks again.
You could always keep him for a few seasons and sell him later when he reaches 200 AI or so.
EDIT: Just snagged the other d-man: 91/max-1/?+ for 216M. I was hoping it would be super cheap as with 10 minutes to go it was still around 100k, but rocketed up as a bidding war ensued at the deadline.
EDIT2: Just pulled a 16 year old showing ?96/?67 and ?24. There would have to be a big jump in P to be a usable pull.

Why do you torture me game? I was expecting sure relegation, but with half the schedule in the books I'm only down 3 points to 11th and 12th while having a GD that is better than four other teams in the bottom 8, tied with two others, and only worse than one other.
If I could get on a run, there might be a chance to stave off relegation yet! Or at the very least I don't think I'd fall further than III.

The most players are online (I think) between 4-5 pm ET.
Try either Wednesday or Thursday after the final game of the regular season. Due to the new instant transfers I've been selling on Wednesday around 5pm my time (CST), this way the auction ends at a time with a decent amount of people online before the first playoff game is played.

Yeah, while it's disappointing when you can't get something good for your lineup, as long as you get a T&S quality player without having to pay for them I'm not sure you can really call it a loss.

I'm sad. Horky retired. I was hoping he'd get picked up cheap by a young team.
My efforts to find a decent replacement goaltender have been stymied all season. The thought of riding a 35xp goalie into the playoffs makes me cringe.
If I don't promote from the US V.7 league as the only active manager, I will probably quit as it's no fun playing these bot teams now.
I have players that have gained star status after ripping apart the statistical league leaders. They lose those when a team promotes to a higher league, correct?

If I'm not mistaken, it was recently tweaked. Your players lose some star points when promoting, but not as many as previously. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

I went all in and sold a ton of my veterans. Originally it was only going to be two, but that's all the vets that aren't +3, are in the NT, or have a shot at the NT. Well except for one wing, but that's mainly because he won't be a UFA next season, as such next season he'll be sold too.
But it looks like you'll take game number 3. I'm down two wingers and I only have one backup. I'm currently using a Dman as the other sub. I'll try to find cheaper backup to keep things interesting.

Don't be so sure. Yesterday's triple overtime, and my penchant for overworking my top players, have me in some serious energy trouble. If we do manage to win today, it'll be while running on fumes...
