If true, this should give the Rangers even more room to work with. A hefty contract for a top player doesnt sound as restricting now, if its done the smart way.

it's even sadder that the league had to go through a lockout.

How does posting it on there players only site make them "happy go lucky" about it? Im sure all the Owners/GMs got faxes about it as well today. And wasn't the players final offer last year something like 45 million and the owners rejected it?
