Really? He constantly crashes the net while Dauphin and Erne have the puck. Look where he was on the first goal.

Sorensen is probably more of a 2nd rounder who plays a 200 foot game. Will be a solid offensive player plus kills penalities and everything.

Solid offensive player I wouldn't say that but defensively he's solid. If he doesn't pan out offensively he could make it as a role player.

Just started watching the 3rd period. Duclair looks like a real good passer. Erne looks awesome too.

Gauthier has indeed been terribly invisible tonight. Still think he's a stud though. Same for Mantha.

I still love my Kostalek. Not spectacular but pretty efficient.

Can Desrosiers be our 2nd round goalie? 'Cause we will pick a goalie.

Not watching the game right now, only basing that off what I've seen during the season. Good for him if he's putting more effort into going into the dirty areas, it would help his stock considerably IMO.

Nice move by Horvat. Not sure but another guy I'm not too sure of is Domi. Not sure of the upside.

Didn't even know that our own Mike McPhee was coaching.

I want 20 of them. So either we sell everybody. Either I'm starting to cheer for plenty of teams...

I loved what I saw from Morin. There is a huge step between his play from his debuts and this year.

He is way more composed, he add a lot of grit to his play and he is showing a little bit of offensive abilities. He has difficulties with his synchronism but overall, I like more and more his game. Plus, he is a tower which could help his transition to the pros.

Someone told me that he is a gym rat and that he is very focused on the game.

He is not perfect at all but his progression is surprising. In the case where Zadorov is gone early, MTL could pick this guy later.

He is in my not draft list.. Never been impressed with this guy, I highly doubt he getsdrafted in the top 60, probably third or even fourth round..

I agree. Offensively he isn't impressive. Still think he could be a good role player though.

I really see Timmins going for this kid. Talented and good work ethic, Timmins does'nt mind picking small foward.

I'd like Sorensen...in the third round maybe. He's fundamentally sound and hard working, just unexceptional. I like him because he's low risk and his moderate upside, but he's forgettable.

I don't agree with the perimeter player thing though, I always see him crashing the net and going into the corners. I just see average skill and no creativity besides that.

He wasn't afraid of traffic today I thought. He just never had the puck as Dauphin and Erne were moving forward with it. I wouldn't hesitate to draft him in the 2nd round.

Dickinson looked like he didn't belong in that group, a little lost or confused which is too bad.

Roy looked a little raw but still worth using one of our 2nds on and Nurse moved up a few spots on my list.

I think he'll be there in the 3rd.

Also, for a guy who is often placed top10, Morrissey didn't 'wow' me. He certainly didn't outplay a guy like Mueller.

It's too bad that they didn't put a Rempart's line together....

Duclair - Erne - Sorensen

I PVR'ed it if any one does not believe this Duclair is for real. Concistency issues lately, yes, but he's coming back with a solid 2nd half. I was at the game last Saturday, Erne and Duclair played exactly like they played tonight, although the result does not give them justice...... To be continued....

Some say that a fractured ankle heals better and faster then a sprained ankle...... hmmmm....

How about not drafting him then?! Why draft an unexceptional player in the 3rd round, who's not going to play in the top 6. I'd rather try to draft a bigger version of Brandon Prust, so we don't have to shell 2,5 million in FA again.

Mantha has a lot of upside, but having seen him twice this weekend and again tonight, he has high bust potential. His decision-making with the puck is worrisome, and he's often invisible on the ice. I could see him becoming a very frustrating player to watch. I wouldn't wanna take a chance early on him and miss out on my first rounder, especially this year.

Erne should go in the top 10. Every time I see him I'm impressed with his game. He's better than Pacioretty at the same age.

Subban is an exciting and intriguing talent, but he played zero defense. I don't know if it's usually the case but he was dead set on jumping the play every chance he could get.

I'd draft Morin with one of our 2nd rounders, having him and Tinordi for the next 10 years would make me rest easy at night.

I didn't like Duclair at first, but he's improved his game since coming back from injury. His combination of speed, skill, and vision is undeniable. It looks like he wants to mix it up in the corners so once he gains weight he could be dangerous. If he's there in the 2nd I want him.
