Xfinity... err Comcast probably doesn't even know what the NHL is. Much less that we are locked out...
Fenway, which NCAA hockey team are you a fan?
Comcast OWNS the Flyers
Comcast-Spectacor is the Philadelphia-based sports and entertainment firm, which owns the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League and the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA — home of the Flyers and the National Basketball Association’s Philadelphia 76ers.
Anyone have a rough price range for center ice on Comcast? I just moved to Memphis and need to watch my blues... And the preds to a certain extent.. Even though we are division rivals I really like your team, management and trotz. Wish the best unless they are playing the blues.
I was thinking about waiting until the season starts before ordering. I feel like they will jack the price up for all of the die hards. I would like to know what they have charged in the past so I know I'm not getting screwed.
I spoke with DirecTv last night. Won't know of a price until the CBA is approved and signed. Then the NHL will work out their respective deals for CI and Game Center.
I hope it is free or almost free for us fans! I live in Illinois and had the DirecTv package last yr. It was GREAT!
The 2011-2012 price for NHL Center Ice was $171.80 if you signed up by Oct. 30 through four installments of $42.95 (the Early Bird price). I believe the "half season" price was somewhere between $100 and $120 if you waited until January to subscribe...
Please someone correct me if I have misstated anything. Several years ago, I remember CI being as cheap as $129 to $149 for the entire season.
I really hope they give a deep discount for it this year or I will pass on it...
I have Direct TV and live just south of Murfreesboro. Am I reading the previous posts correctly to say that FoxSports TN will not carry the Preds via their service?
Folks in Tenn. should be fine, I live in Kentucky and got an email back in October from DirecTV saying they would not consider me to be in the local market area. I called and explained to them I was a season ticket holder and local cable was carrying Preds games but they were not interested. I'll enjoy the free preview and then talk to the customer retention folks and see what they have to say about it.
