The NHL store lets me customize a few hoodies but I can't put roster names on them which is kinda lame wondering if any of you had a good place

Well, apparently that new Facebook search engine is considered a big flop. But it sent thousands of new visitors to my zombie blog today... so it's fine by me!

Google has an amazing Zamboni doodle today (for about another 40 minutes).

A skater comes out and you have to drive the Zamboni to clear the marks the skater left.

So I finally caught up on some movies I meant to watch and saw that movie 13 Assassins. My biggest gripe was how the **** the hunter of all people managed to survive not only the big Samurai bloodbath city but also a sword to the throat then dance around in the final scene going "YEAH WELL I FIGHT BEARS NO BIGGIE" before skipping off?

Never has there ever been a statement that made me want to see a movie more than that one...

Sooo....Notre Dame's start linebacker had a fake girlfriend who fake died. This is one of the weirdest stories I've read in awhile. And since it happened to Notre Dame, it's hilarious.

Can I get cliff notes? The story is painfully long.

This appears to be the crux:

Quote:
Manti Te'o did lose his grandmother this past fall. Annette Santiago died on Sept. 11, 2012, at the age of 72, according to Social Security Administration records in Nexis. But there is no SSA record there of the death of Lennay Marie Kekua, that day or any other. Her passing, recounted so many times in the national media, produces no obituary or funeral announcement in Nexis, and no mention in the Stanford student newspaper.

Nor is there any report of a severe auto accident involving a Lennay Kekua. Background checks turn up nothing. The Stanford registrar's office has no record that a Lennay Kekua ever enrolled. There is no record of her birth in the news. Outside of a few Twitter and Instagram accounts, there's no online evidence that Lennay Kekua ever existed.

The photographs identified as Kekua—in online tributes and on TV news reports—are pictures from the social-media accounts of a 22-year-old California woman who is not named Lennay Kekua. She is not a Stanford graduate; she has not been in a severe car accident; and she does not have leukemia. And she has never met Manti Te'o.

But was he the one that "made up" a girlfriend? Or was it the media creating a fake story out of nowhere? If so, why the hell did he not say anything since September?

The woman that would talk to him wasn't really who she claimed. He was basically lied too by some chick.

I'm still confused. So he was dating this chick who gave him a fake name/identity. For how long? And then what? She called the media and told that his gf died? He would've attended the funeral, no?

missed this earlier, i liked die hard 4. it wasnt the best movie ever because they toned down the cussing and violence to force a pg13 rating. my biggest problem though was the special effects werent too good. this movie i have a feeling will be an improve ment

Notre Dame has deep pockets and will spin this one to the grave. So pathetic.

At first I though he made it up, then I heard someone on the news say that he was catfished by someone.
