Allegedly, he said he went to Hawaii with her.
Yeah, this is bizarre. It seems like this could be a sick joke played on Te'o, or a sick joke (marketing scheme?) played BY Te'o. Just really weird and sick either way.

If we believe they "met" in 2009, which ND confirmed in the timeline, but said the meeting was "online":

She was a decent looking dame (turned out to be pictures of his friend-- how did he not notice this?)
She was fighting leukemia
They were crazy in love

.... and he couldn't find a way to see his dying, attractive girlfriend who he was in love with for 2 1/2 to 3 years?

C'mon bro, most my buddies have borrowed money from me to score plane tickets for an off-chance of scoring with a girl they met for 20 minutes in a chat room.

Also: Happy to have Chip Kelly with the Eagles.

chip Kelly lands, and www.csnphilly.com as a small 2 min video of him arriving.

I thought it was weird his plane landed at NE philly airport. I know he was on a private jet.

however you would think it would have landed at atlantic aviation by the PHL airport.

but heck hes here atleast just has to drive an extra 30 min to get to stadium area.

everything will happen at novacare tomorrow at 130. CSN will have the press conference live coverage starts at 1pm.

I wonder how many players will be selected from Oregon in the next draft))
We would choose the good players in the O-Line. And I hope for a new D-Coordinator.

Seems like most Eagles fans and media were pushing for Gus Bradley as Head Coach. Would be very interesting what team will go further (Eagles or Jags). The Eagles front office is notorious for talking down to the fans/media. Would be interesting to see Bradley turn around that Jags franchise and the entire Philly fanbase/media get a nice big "told you so!"

However, who knows, Chip Kelly could turn the Eagles into a Super Bowl team. Joe Banner must be really ticked off today though. Chip Kelly wanted nothing to do with the Browns.

I think that he's either gay, or that he thought it would get him more publicity, and no one would ever know. I don't believe he was tricked.

I just found out Teo is a devout Mormon. At a catholic school like Notre Dame he must've felt very left out.

That being said this story makes sense if you understand that religion and how strict about sex they are.

He sounds like he's the most confused college student in the history of ever.

I'd still draft him. Internet creeper or not. Don't care. Kid can play. He made up a gf and killed her off. It's quite hilarious honestly.

This is a brilliant signing in my opinion. The NFL coaches as a whole are ultra-conservative, taking 40 yd field goals on 4th and 1 from the 23 instead of going for it when you will make it 60% of the time. Looking forward to the aggressive mindset, fake punts, onside kicks, 2 pts conversions seemingly at random, going for it on 4th and short a ton. This is a coach that believe FG are failures, and I think that aggressiveness will win the Eagles some games until the other coaches adjust and start doing it themselves.

I will wait to make my final decision on Chipper after the draft. If I am him, I'd take Joeckel with first pick, and depending on who is available in the second round, Manti Te'o (you never know, depending on what goes on with this gf thing...), Matt Barkley (if he is still there, I would take a shot at him), Logan Ryan from Rutgers (homer pick) or Eric Reid from LSU (secondary needs help badly), or Tyler Eiffert (unlikely to be available, but would be nice). I would also take the Honey Badger in the third or fourth round if he was available.

Hearing rumors (might be bogus) that Kelly may want to switch to a 3-4. In which case, getting a dominating nose tackle is a priority.

Sticking with the Te'o topic :

Minor league baseball team offering a bobblehead giveaway of Manti Te'o's girlfriend. Only the boxes will be empty: http://is.gd/BUpCRc

Minor league team uses Te'o hoax for promotion

Quote:
FLORENCE, Ky. - A Kentucky-based minor league baseball team is jumping on the Manti Te'o girlfriend hoax story.

It is offering a bobblehead giveaway of the girlfriend. Only the boxes will be empty.

The Florence Freedom says on its website that the boxes will go to the first 1,000 fans on May 23.

They also will rope off a special section just for people to bring imaginary friends.

Freedom General Manager Josh Anderson says fans can make the bobblehead out to be whatever they want it to be.

Te'o, a Notre Dame football star, said this week he was duped in a bizarre lie involving a fake dead girlfriend. The national media did several stories on how Te'o played through the pain of her death.

The Florence Freedom is part of the Independent Frontier League.
