IDEA: Have The Dink Carroll Award for the GM who assembles the best new BIO in the ATD. At the end of the draft the best bios could be nominated and a vote poll opened up. There's a little extra attention/incentive to assembling great bios, AND honoring a figure of hockey history in a most apt way.

I had no idea who that was, but when I googled it I realized that I knew WHY that person was famous: the girlfriend of a football player I HAVE heard about!

I know. The true original Browns were moved by Art Modell to Baltimore. RIP. It is a franchise with a rich history of legendary defense. In high school I'd watched countless tapes of their games to prepare to play.

For the Final Division in the Jim Coleman Conference, we have a tie between the Dink Carroll division and the Ray Scapinello Division at 11 votes apiece. I have decided to do the tiebreaker this way:

First Tiebreaker: Votes by Active GMs
Second Tiebreaker: Votes by Separate Amounts of Teams
Final Tiebreaker: Run-off vote over the course of 2 hours from 12PM-2PM EST tomorrow.

I haven't look at the votes yet in order to keep myself as an independent judge of this matter for fairness, as I have made my opinion clear on which option I prefer. Because of, in the grand scheme of things, how little division names matter, I'm just going to unilaterally do this, and post my findings in the next post.

The Ray Scapinello Division!

This matter was adjudicated using the first tiebreaker. With a total of 11 Active GMs voting for the Ray Scapinello Division as opposed to 9 Active GMs for the Dink Carroll Division, the Scapinelllo Division wins out.

The Second Tiebreaker would have had the same result.

Sorry seventies. I'm disappointed with the result too.
