I don't think we would want to trade him until we know what we have in him. We just sent him back down to Lake Erie for more tuning.

Hes torn up the AHL but he needs to mature physically a bit still. I couldn't see him being moved unless it was part of a larger trade.

A good player. Will most likely become our 3rd line center in a few years.

His value has been slowly building since he was signed, so keep him around for now.

Good young kid. I fully expect to see him in the NHL one day.

Fun fact, he comes from outside of my hometown.

Have you seen him play? What makes you think he will be a 3rd line center?

I watched him play in Cleveland once this year. I can't tell you much about him, but Brendan Smith laid a short beat-down on him.

Does he have any pirate qualities other than the name?

He owns a bird AND a boat. His favorite movie trilogy is the Pirates of the Caribbean series, and he owns them all on Blu Ray.

He's basically the most qualified pirate in the league.

He's one of the most talented guys on a young talented LEM roster, ripping up the league as a rookie. Can't see the Avs moving him until we know what his ceiling is in the NHL.

Add just how feisty he plays, especially getting mentored by Trolver, and potentially playing with downie when he does make it, and I'd hate to lose him now. With two of Dutchy, Staz and Factor ahead of him and a PK 4th line center Sgar could be part of an infuriating 3rd line.
