I like Natalie, I think she is very attractive, I have seen her in person and that is even better! I think she knows her stuff and doesn't fumble around with words. She is a welcome respite from the crap we have seen on the ice, her reporting brightens things up, at least for me!
My main issue with Natalie is her cadence. She puts a strange emphasis on her syllables while she's talking which is really distracting to me. I find myself listening to how she's speaking rather than what she's saying and I don't think that's a quality you want in any on air speaking role.
I'm know that I'm probably in the minority on this one though. My life is based around audio so I'm sure something like that sticks out to me more.
This isn't a complaint, but I figured this would be the place to post this.
Am I the only one who thinks Jeff Rimer looks ill? In the most recent Jackets TV interview he did with JD he did not look well.
He went on a hunger strike until John Davidson agreed to come here. The original plan was to hold his breath until then but he failed that 45 seconds in.
@Aportline "Told FSO/#CBJ have hired Dan Kamel as in-studio pre-/post-game analyst. He was Atlanta TV play-by-play before franchise moved to Winnipeg"
@Aportline "Former #CBJ Andrew Cassles, former OSU coach John Markell and former OSU player Paul Caponigiri were all interested in analyst job."

Probably not enough cash, but a team of Kamel and Cassels would have been cool.

Poor Ray. You know it's bad when I would rather listen to Rimer any day over Mr. Crawford. I felt sorry for the guy really.
He was way over his head and likely only got the job because of his wife. I stopped watching the pre and post game shows because of how awkward he was in front of the camera. But he did seem to be a little better when Maetzold was there to take a little presser off of him.

I've asked the Atlanta contingent to provide a bit of info on him as far as what to expect. One response so far, but I won't post anything until there's more.
What's going to be interesting is what they are going to do in April when the Jackets, Indians, Cavs and Jackets are playing on the same night.
I have been lucky, living inside 270. I haven't been pre-empted for those other teams, but have read all of the problems posters in those cities have had. That should be first on their list to problem solve.
