You can use http://rangers2012.io-media.com to see multiple views from every section. You can even look around in every possible direction. It's quite amazing.

This is really amazing .. The only thing to be changed right now is that old scoreboard

This should be changed during next offseason - is that correct? Somebody posted that in one of the previous threads (hopefully it's not that ugly as in Tampa, even if the resolution is amazing)

I wish that was the ony thing. Unfortunately, they're going to wreck the place by putting those stupid ****ing bridges across the middle of the 200's from end to end.

Yes I already saw that concept..
As I were not able to go to MSG yet, I can't say anything about that idea..
I wish to be able to visit NYC in the next few years

I'm in 213 row 21. Can I get to the top of the 200's, then enter the seating bowl and walk down to my seats or is the only way to enter at the bottom of the section and walk up?

Pretty sure the only way to get the top of the section is from the bottom. I have a knicks mini-plan at the bar stool seats at the top of 212 and the only way to get up directly to the top without walking all the way up from the bottom of the section is from an elevator that is usually only reserved for handicap/sick folks. I know this because I went to the Knicks opener with a friend who got extremly sick and coulnd't make his way down the stairs so we took the elevator.

Right now those bar stool seats are pretty amazing seats, but once the bridges come in. They will be the worst.

The bridges are going to **** so much **** up. Talk about obstructed views...the entire scoreboard will be completely blocked from a majority of middle to upper area of the 200's...

Yes they will... It's a shame they are going to proceed with them... I bet the arena will look awesome just as it is now.... Last thing I want is to see these eyesore bridges ruining my view of the Garden ceiling (as well as the Gardenvision).

Yep, the million dollar question is what's the starting row number cutoff where there'll be sh** views. I think that row # will be different in every section. But I would not want to be in the center sections much above row 15, but we'll see how it works out

On the flip side, there's going to be westbalcony-type seating along center ice which should be some of the best seats in the house. So the Knicks & Rangers are basically converting thousands of decent seats to crappy seats in exchange for a couple hundred good seats. Not a good trade IMO

Here is a better rendering from a different angle. (they did this to make it look more appealing)

You'll never hear the end of it in here... But I can promise that MSG management does not care. If you can see the entire playing surface from all seats, that's good enough for them. Scoreboard/ceiling get no priority.

That is going to be their description of obstructed view. The argument that the bridges are distracting, which I expect they will be, is not going to matter. The scoreboard argument, as well, since they play to put scoreboards and video boards on the bridges.

If you look at the last picture and count the rows down (figure row 23 is the last row), that would give you some idea. Rows 12-14 maybe the cutoff if the picture is correct.

I'm in row 10...I think unless the bridges are above you (directly) they will be in your field of vision and will be a distraction. I think it will be an issue for me in row 10. I think in row 18 and above it will basically be straight on on your field of vision, although you will be looking down at the ice.

obviously you'd prefer to see the garden vision but I also want to have an "open sky" view

When I was in the upper bowl back in November for the Cornell game, I looked at where the Balcony was to get a feel for where the bridges would block. My seats are in 225 row 15 and I think it's going to block the upper portion of the scoreboard. Row 12-13 is the cutoff to see the entire scoreboard IMO.

I actually think the bridges could be kind of cool. Only arena in the world with something like that. Would like to watch a game from there..

But yeah, it could be a disaster aesthetically for the building and for fans sitting in the 200s.

It looks like there is only a bridge on one side and then something different on the other?
