Sabres players/prospects on waivers (Pardy/Tarnasky/Porter waived)

Mancari on today, Porter and Tarnasky have to clear by Saturday (I was under the impression they didn't because they cleared in September, not the case).
Also, SJ put Brandon Mashinter on waivers today, who may be worth a claim.
He's not a household name as a prospect, but he's hulking at 6'4 230.
Can't say I've ever really paid much attention to him, but he's an intriguing package of size and what looks to be decent skill (even though he's having a bad year, some Sharks fans thought he had top nine potential at one point).
There's plenty of guys like him that hit the wire and clear, so why am I mentioning him?

I was also under that impression, specifically since Darcy said 2 days ago on the radio that they didn't have to clear as they already did in September.
Isles just picked up Aucoin. They cannot have more room for d-men, can they?
They're grabbing every semi-serviceable defenseman that hits the wire, then they'll just waive the least of them again and we'll almost assuredly get Finley back at that point.
