Sabres cap season ticket seats at 15,400. 24 home games, that's 369,000 pure STH seats. Add in the 31k additional seats that STHers bought it's a nice even 400k.
That's 6.25% of these tickets on Stubhub, ignoring the possibility that some of those listings could be minipack holders, or selling for other reasons.
Not even on the waiting list but I know some people that are huge fans and would enjoy going to the games.

I know folks that are huge fans as well that would love to go to a game. They, like the overwhelming majority of "huge" fans that would enjoy to go to game, will not for a variety of reasons. Thats just they way its is. Lets not pretend they are being denied food, water and shelter.

I get your frustrations at the non-fans who get into STs purely as a business venture, BloFan, but I have zero qualms with the fans who get into it because they're fans and subsidize by selling tickets (often below box office price) to other fans.
So there's nothing wrong with listings like that which ask for $111 per ticket to sit in S314-R11, when they only pay $25 themselves? Obviously this seller is just going to list them individually come Friday, but aren't these the type of STH accounts that teams like Winnipeg have revoked IIRC? Y'know, the pure markup re-sellers.

Thats a ****ing joke. I wouldn't pay that much even if it included the rights for those seats. My friend has 4 seats in a row and I can get his tix at or below face value. But I do get the people who get upset that there aren't many seats available for games, a good majority of sths have them to make most of their money back and try to go for free ( I.e. Selling all Toronto, Pittsburgh and Montreal games )
