What fans? They're selling season tickets for $7 a piece allegedly.

Good point, but they did do well in attendance last year thanks to having a competitive team and making the playoffs

It wouldn't be me if I didn't rip on the Panthers organization and the very idea of the Panthers... once in a while. Man has to be true to himself... know what I'm saying?

And that's why you don't sing Andreas ****ing Lilja to a multi-year 35+ contract.

From that same site.... this is awesome. God Bless NBC (now part of Ed Snider's Comcast - to make the irony even better).

They follow the sport so closely the people in their ad dept don't even know who won the series.

Yeah, that's the only problem. They don't do it so why should we.

Completely other topic:

What are the expectations for Minnesota?

5th or 6th in the West.
Parise-Koivu-Heatley is one of the top lines in the league
Setoguchi fails to impress
Bouchard plays well in his comeback
Granlund plays well enough but is not a Calder candidate

Probably a first round exit. Missing the playoffs is as likely as making the second round

It's a Jason Kendall contract.

Well, there it is. Wade Redden a STL Blue. Hearing 1 year deal, $800K base salary with GP bonuses that could make it $1M total.
I'm kind of glad for him.

I'm not. He signed an absurd contract, played like ****, and then half-assed his way through the AHL to the point where they didn't even want him in the minors anymore.

It's not his fault the Rangers gave him that contract.

Grigorenko made the Sabres and will center Ott and Leino to start the season. I imagine there's going to be more rage than normal around here if he plays well and sticks throughout the season.

It is his fault he played like a lazy sack of ****, though.

I refuse to feel sorry for a guy who was getting paid millions of dollars to not play.

Good for the kid, kind of crappy linemates.

I think it's still too early to judge the draft, let's wait and see in 3-4 years how it plays out

I agree. Although if he tears it up offensively (which I don't expect), people are going to freak out.

Oh for sure, but the odds aren't very good for us in the long run cause both Grigs and Forsberg are going to light it up eventually. Just hope Pouliot becomes what he is supposed too and logs big time minutes for this team down the road

Nick Johnson sent by Phoenix back to the AHL. I didn't realize he was no longer on the Wild. (unless it's a different Nick Johnson). I thought he had a decent shot at a full time gig in the NHL. Guess the Coyotes don't think so.

He signed a 1 year 2 way deal with Phoenox last summer.

Edler re-signs with Nucks for 6 years/30 million (5 million caphit), hopefully Letang will be looking at a 6 or 7 year deal for a caphit around 5.5-5.75.

Most of tonight's games blacked out on GCL because of Premier Sports. Great.
