Byrd either gets franchised or he signs elsewhere. He's competitive he doesn't want to miss the playoffs every season for the rest of his career.
Looking at the other head coaching hires ( Chud, Arians, Trestman, McCoy, ) I am more and more delighted with the hiring of Marrone. He may very well turn out to be the best hiring this off-season, I have a feeling Chip Kelly is going to fail miserably.

I think we'll know more once Free Agency hits, but I really dont want to reach for a QB there when I think any number of similar guys will be there in round 2.
I'd be happy with any of Moore, Werner, Jones, Jordan, Milliner, Mingo, Ogletree, Warmack...even WR Patterson over the QB's

WR: Allen, Patterson
DE: Moore
OLB: Mingo, Jones
ILB: Te'o, Ogletree

I think with Pettine we definitely need a CB over a WR. With as much as he likes to use his CB's, I don't think the team is even close to deep enough in that area.

Though at this point I'd love if they traded back and grabbed one of Nassib, Wilson, Te'O, or Ogletree later and pick up another pick. None of those guys are worth 8th overall but all would be a good pick later in the 1st to fill a position of need.

I'm not an expert by any means, but having recently watched tape of the QB's in this draft class, I think Glennon is easily the best one.
He's a natural at throwing the football, and he stays cool and calm under pressure (both situational and pass rush). Those are things you can't teach. His stats suffered because his receivers dropped a ton of passes.
He does stare down his targets too much, but that can be corrected.
As more and more information is coming out about this T'eo thing, it's looking like it's very possible he knew nothing about it. Just goes to show why you shouldn't jump to conclusions. Still have no problem with the bills drafting him at 8. I'm curious what this whole fiasco ends up doing to his draft position though.
