Feel bad for guy

Not sure at this point how far off the Jags are from being respectable again

You're never more than a good QB away from competing in the NFL.

Yeah, poor guy. There are only 32 people in the world that can say they're NFL head coaches and he's one of them. Give me a break, you "feel bad" for him? He's making millions of dollars and it's not like he's unaware of the state of the Jags, he could have turned it down if he wanted to.

Hmm...

To coach the Jaguars or coach a Pro Bowl corner and a improving defense on a playoff team..

I think i'll choose Jacksonville.

Stay with a team that basically offers me no room to move up the ranks or become a HC with a chance to turn a team around?

That's like saying why didn't the most legendary DC move up to HC and demand to stay there.

FWIW, as far as 2 win teams go, the Jaguars were competitive. They beat a solid division rival at home, beat a Playoff team in *THEIR* building, lost 3 games in OT, lost to the Pats on the road by one score, almost beat the Packers on the road as well and were in a couple other games in the fourth quarter as well, before falling apart.

They say "You are what your record says you are." And I agree, but this team has some nice pieces in place and really was a few TD's away from really having 3-5 more wins. Still not a great team, but it's not the worst either.

It's not even a little bit like saying that.
