We should all be thanking the Phoenix Coyotes for this very generous move.

Without them taking on a big chunk of Matthew Lombardi's crazy salary, I doubt this would have happened.

On Saturday, February 23, the Maple Leafs will invite fans to Air Canada Centre for a free road game viewing party as the team visits the Ottawa Senators. A complimentary meal (choice of hot dog or pizza, popcorn and pop), prizes, giveaways and autograph sessions with Leafs Alumni and the full-Maple Leafs game night experience are what fans can expect.

Cool.

Don't live in the core though, so I doubt I'll have to a chance to grab a pair.

For anyone that cares.

Quote:
With just a few days to go to Opening Night, Dave Nonis, Randy Carlyle, the management team, the coaching staff and our players are working hard to get ready for the season. They are excited to be back on the ice.
We are appreciative of your loyalty and patience over the last four months and to show our gratitude, your tickets for Opening Night are free. With payment for 23 games on account and a 24 game home schedule, the home opener is on us.
We are committed to winning and having a team that makes our fans proud. And it is through this commitment we intend to win back your confidence and trust.
We look forward to seeing you at Air Canada Centre on Monday. Please come early to be a part of our Opening Night celebrations. Later, you will hear all about the activities planned to celebrate the start of the season.
On behalf of our staff, players and management of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Maple Leaf Sports + Entertainment, we are grateful for the passion and loyalty you always show. Leafs hockey is the passion that unites us all. We can't wait to get started.
Sincerely,

Tom Anselmi
President and C.O.O.

Hope that STH is honourable, and may help you out with savings for that game. I'd follow up with them and see what they can do for you.
