Butler WILL make the team. It's Tedenby who has a decent chance. Butler is a lock I'd say. TG's latest blog is filled with lots of praise for Butler by Pete, and Marty, as well as Josefson.

I think it would be shocking if Butler did not make the team.

Clermont has been Elmira's best player almost every night he plays. Decent numbers on a very mediocre team.

Not incredibly news-worthy these days, but Butler was named to the Eastern AHL All Star team.

Think Lou will give Bobby permission to play in the AHL all star game?

Any NHL Game > AHL All-Star Game
Just my opinion.

I didn't mean to suggest otherwise. Just cool to see him getting recognized.

Just as much permission as Matt Taormina got last year.

Albany wins again, now up to the 7th best winning percentage in the conference.
Kinkaid stopped a penalty shot tonight too.

Wedgewood and Clermont played against each other last night. Clermont was pulled after giving up 4 goals on 12 shots. Wedgewood allowed 5 goals on 38 shots.

Highlights from the Atlantic City game on Sunday are on AHL Live, but the camera angles and the camera guys are terrible.

I like the way gelinas has been playing lately. He seems to have gotten his legs back under him after his injury.

10 points in 19 games total for Gelinas. Looks like he is finding his game from last year.

Looks like Brandon Burlon has passed Alex Urbom on the development front. I actually think Burlon can now be a 3rd pairing NHL player. I don't see Urbom having an NHL career.

Urbom was ten times the player Burlon was last Sunday. Our depth may prevent Urbom from playing here but he's an NHL player.

And he had 8 SOG last night. I'd love if the Devils had a defenseman who could generate lots of SOG.

No way, no how.
Urbom>>>>>>>Burlon, both now and potential-wise.

I think Urbom is still ahead of Burlon, but I'm not convinced either will stick with the NHL Devils. Might be a good idea to trade them if they are stuck behind the logjam of defensive prospects.

Not hard to believe with Butler , Withney and Anderson your best forwards on the team. Its going to be hard for them to generate much offense anywhere for the rest of the season.

Holy crap, Cal Heeter saves the Phantoms in a barrage early in OT.
