Would be great to bring that boy over here to replace the last Habs defense-man we signed. Give the GTA boy a 4m contract for 3 years.

Would have been signed already if he only wanted 4 million.

I'm sensing a title change here.
Oh, and no. We need draft picks.

Not really interested in potentially sacrificing a young stud centre for PK Subban.

Stay away from this clown. He's Montreal's problem.

Montreal would sign both deals and we would be doing Montreal a favour. Subban wants way more. His favourite team growing up was Montreal. He won't sign for that amount or us.

Subban overrated? you guys are nuts, kid is a stud
Not sure what the compensation is for offer sheets with the new CBA but would I be willing to give multiple first round picks (which is what it will probably take) to sign PK? No thanks
Would I offer him a contract if he were a UFA? In a heartbeat

Subban's sick, but not worth spending a high 1st on him when we need a center so bad.

Wouldn't it be great to have a 1st rounder 3 years in a row. Good grief.
I do not want the next GM who gives away a first rounder fired. I want him shot!

Offer sheets might make sense if the Leafs were truly "knocking on the door" of the Stanley Cup (like the Vancouver Canucks think they are). That way, the compensatory draft picks would be less likely to be lottery picks. But realistically, the Leafs are not there yet (by a long margin)...so NO. Stay away from any offer sheet scenario.

Subban is the type of heavy energy, slick puckmoving defense that is exactly what toronto wants.
This is a Kessel type situation, and I dont think Nonis has the stones. But I would definitely trade for him.
A future defence core of phaneuf, subban, gardiner, reilly and we are looking great long term on our blueline.
Players like subban dont come around too often. And he fits the age group we currently have with lupul, kessel, etc

No I wouldn't offer sheet him. We need to keep our draft picks.

Not worth giving up high draft picks for a defenseman, we have a whole bunch of great ones in the organization already.
