Really thought you guys had a chance against clown pants. Didn't expect that 1st half even in Bloomington.

There was roughly a 10 minute stretch in the first where the Hoosiers could not miss and the Gophs just kept turning the ball over. Other than that ridiculous run, the game has been pretty even but they blew their chance of winning at that point. The officiating for Zeller has also been unbelievably bad.

Unbelievable how winnable that game was. Indiana got some home-cooked officiating, they didn't miss in the first half and the Gophers still could have won that game. ****

Gotta feel pretty good about how that went, they were in it at the end after a poor first half on the road playing the #5 team.

really disappointing Mbakwe missed that rebound with about 20 seconds left after indiana missed those 2 free throws.

Gophers would have been able to run down the clock and get the last shot with a chance to tie... If they could have forced OT that would have been the best comeback for the gophers in a long time.

In MN basketball news today, two things:

Bad loss by Gophers - now should be outside top 10.

Wolves may be the most plagued team in the NBA.

Wolves lose fifth straight. Pek and Shved go out on injuries.

This makes me sad.

It's unbelievable how bad this team's luck has been with injuries. You really can't even expect them to win at this point.

Man the Wolves lose by 1 to the Bobcats? You know you are doomed when basically your top 3-4 players are out - 3 with serious injuries - your interim coach Terry Porter can't get this team to beat the worst team on the planet and Adelman's wife is dying.

Terrible.

thoughts on these "harvin gone" rumours? I'd be really disappointed if it's true. I realize WRs can be divas and that **** can be poisonous to a team...but we have NOBODY after harvin

<--- Going to be mighty pissed when this team ultimately jettisons one of the best talents they've ever had (for very minimal gains) and goes into the year with an inept starting QB.

Except for the fact Harvin is a brutal headcase and is hitting all the doors on the way out.

I love Harvin's talent but hate his attitude. Rich Gannon on KFAN said yesterday he has no idea how anyone could clash with Leslie Frazier, but Harvin has.

He does leave it all on the field and is a warrior out there...but he wants to hold out for a new contract. Depends on what he wants. If he's not going to ask for over $10M and the Vikes can't afford to get any other help at WR...it's just going to kill the team.

Not having a functioning QB hurts the team much more than any character within it.

They'll make a strong go of Mike Wallace.

I doubt the Vikings pursue, and secure, any of the top free agents. Bowe is an off the field headache that they're already dealing with in Harvin. Wallace isn't a fit for this offense, IMO. I believe Jennings ends up signing in Miami with his old offensive coordinator. Of the three, Jennings is the most likely to land here, again, IMO.

Harvin is a guy that has a history of off the field, and often violent, outburst.

In high school he was banned from all sports in West Virginia due to punching and official

In college he skipped workouts, got suspended for drug use, and got into a physical altercation with his position coach.

Then he comes here and gets into vocal altercations with Frazier and Musgrave, as well as a physical altercation with former coach Childress.

I love, love his talent but he's got a .02 head and is someone I would have a hard time investing a large amount of time and money in to.

I think the Vikings should wait for the right deal. Demand a 1st round pick +

Stare down Harvin and say they can afford to let him sit out all year. They can franchise him for 2 years. He either plays like a good soldier or they kill his career.

Harvin has lost a lot of respect around here. And I think the Vikings need to send a message here.

I think best case scenario is Darrell Bevell bangs his fist on the proverbial table and we send Harvin to Seattle for their 1st and a conditional pick in 2014.

I like their reasoning.

Quote:
What a rookie season for the undrafted kicker. He finished in the top 10 in every major category, while making several clutch kicks, including a 47-yard game-winner at Denver in the playoffs.
So, if Blair Walsh would not have been drafted, he would have won. Clearly.
