I had to check it out when I got home to see if it comes though on TV as well as it does in the arena. Very close but just not the same as being there.
As a Sens fan locked inside a Leafs fan's community, I have to say thanks to the organizers of this great cheer. My kids have even being joining the chant the past few games watching on TV - even for the ones in NY that aren't prompted by the TV! My coworkers, despite their we-haven't-made-the-playoffs-in-years-but-you-still-haven't-beat-us-in-the-post-season, are envious. Forty odd years of misery for them; best chant in modern hockey for us.

i liked how other teams tarted stealing the idea to boo and mock opponents. (i understand we took it from the nordiques, but screw them they have no team)

I just got GCL and I am watching game 3 of the playoffs. I was at that game so it's cool watching it. The Alfie chant sounded awesome on TV. We have to keep it going.
Can't wait to hear the first "OH AH SILFVERBERG" on the telly here in sweden, like last season when he won the cup for my team in the SEL.
I doubt you could hear it on the TV, but I was at game six last year and it got pretty loud in the section I was in and the surrounding sections as well.
Not sure if our Alfie countdown is going to survive. Seems like people are forgetting to count. I made a quick video hoping to get some attention, but I'm afraid it's going to disappear completely soon
