I doubt it. You guys are always too optimistic about prospects. History has proven it over and over. He'll be a 2nd liner and PP guy at most, and you should be happy if he becomes that.

1st line potential =/= he's guaranteed to be a 1st liner.

No way is he a 2nd liner "at most"; I think he's far more likely to be a 2nd liner than a 1st but you need to understand what ceiling means.

That's an interesting point. I only saw Collberg at the WJCs. I didn't see a glaring lack of hockey sense (really liked that backcheck on Galchenyuk in the gold medal game) but Bozon definitely has really good offensive instincts. I think Collberg's just that little bit more quick and skilled than Bozon. It's also hard to judge because they're playing in two wildly different situations. I really like both.

This. Big time. There's no need to totally dismiss Collberg of having possible first line potential. Also how many teams have first lines wholly comprised of 'first liners'? I could definitely seen Collberg on a first line with Gally and Patches. Hell I could see Kristo, Bozon, Gallagher and even Leblanc there at times. When you have a center that projects as well as Galchenyuk you can cheat a little with his linemates.

Collberg is a poor mans Yakupov. In the second round that's a major steal. I had him in my top 12.

Interview with Collberg, about his development and that he's on a very interesting PP unit.

Scored on a penalty shot. Low glove side. No deke, just flat out beat Engstrand.

Game is streamed here: http://nutjob.eu/njtvx18.html

In Sweden you can choose which player to take the penalty and obviously Frolunda has Collberg as #1!

So his first SEL non-shootout goal even though it's similar to a shootout! Hurray!

With the penalty shot goal Collberg is partially excused for that awful shift on the goal against, managed to lose the puck twice in the defensive zone.

Might be only me, but I think if everything goes pretty well with Collberg, we could have a 'Scott Young' type of player, I just get that vibe from him, and that would be pretty nice IMO.

Nice little rush by Collberg, tried to beat the goalie from in tight but could not get it up high enough.

Now he tries to jam it in from the goal crease but the whistle blows.

Color guy thought he should have made a break and gone for the backhand.

Scoooooooores! Wrister and beating the goalie glove side.

No other goal scored, Frolunda wins. This will be another goal credited to his record, right?
