Toronto fans are like vulcher's whenever an all-star player is in the midst of being signed or traded. Lets hope benn and GM joe can settle this today

I kind of wish Toronto would try and offer sheet him.
Would be hysterical to see what we would do in retaliation.

Stars still working to get Jamie Benn signed, but it looks like there's a good chance he will miss opener Saturday.

Can't imagine he'll play against Minnesota either if he doesn't play tomorrow night.

Meh...there's almost nothing that surprises me about the Laffs fans now. Neal, Richards, Ribeiro, Stamkos, were all set to be Leafs because they or their 2nd cousin grew up liking the Leafs or they just happened to be cornered by cameras while coming out of the bathroom at the ACC and answered in affirmative to the question whether they liked the restroom facilities in the arena.

Missing $375,000 for skipping five games isn't a bad loss if the gain is an extra four million over the life of the contract.

Hearing the gap is Jamie not wanting anything longer than 5 years. Not sureif anyone else mentioned that on a previous page yet or not, too lazy to go look.

4 is the only amount of years Id really be against offering him. I know its nitpicking but i feel like spending a little more money to buy a year of UFA is worthwhile.

Third. I took him in double digit rounds because no one wanted to risk taking Benn last night.

Lol at people thinking we care about their fantasy teams. We're kinda more worried about our real life team...

Let's pretend that theoretically, things just don't work out.
What do the Stars look for in return for Benn?

At least a young center with #1C potential. At least.
