Wish I had the time to find all those Butler 1st line posts. Was never going to happen.

Let me explain something about Tedenby that I've been saying for a while now. While I'm not too pissed he's up (Janssen should GTFO) this organization will give him special treatment. He will be given chances other guys won't. Not bringing up Carlson here, but since Tedenby was a first round pick he will get entitlement treatment. They will take their time with him, and hope for the best as long as they can.

Regardless GTFO POS Janssen.

Someone earlier on the page said Harrold was waived but I can't find it anywhere in TG's tweets so it's probably more speculation that got misinterpreted.

EDIT: Nevermind, the speculation here is ridiculous. People REALLY need to do a better job of differentiating fact from opinion in their posts.

He wasn't. Someone said Harrold shouldn't be sent to Albany because if was put on waivers, he'd most likely be picked up immediately.

And with the way people are scrambling for defense, I'd agree with that.

What is happening here...

I saw a tweet this morning that only 3 players were put on waivers today Butler was one but Harrold wasn't the other. Harrold isn't going to dress so not sure why the hell he would need to be waived unless they want Larsson to not dress until someone gets hurt.

Uh oh... That reminds me of our "Bombs Away" mentality with Rolston/Kovy/Foster at the points

Makes me think they want Clarkson to be the next holstrom. Which I won't have a problem with.

Why the need for Janssen? Why didn't Lou just give him a one way contract if he was gonna get a spot over guys that deserve to be up more than him? He's the biggest passenger on this team, and of no use if we have Barch. No one will claim this incompetent POS off waivers.

At this point I wish Lou gave him a one way contract. I wouldn't be as mad as him being on a two way, and staying up over guys more deserving. He should know that since he's on a two way. It's what he signed up for.

None of Butler, Larsson, Harrold, Tedenby or Janssen need to be sent down. Darche hasn't been signed (yet). Henrique is on injured reserve. The roster is 23 already with Pesonen and Sestito going down. Waiving Butler is to allow flexibility in the coming weeks.

Can confirm multiple reports that Devils are among teams that have expressed interest in Gomez. Don't know how serious that interest is.

It is odd how Janssen got a two-way but it's really a one-way in everything but name. Maybe the paper two-way deal is just a way for Lou to keep him 'in line' (i.e. he does something screwy then the two-way part of the deal gets used)

TG's a little late here...or not, I thought the Anaheim thing was official

Maybe there's still a reunion possible

I think one goon should suffice, and a bunch of competent gritty guys, like Carter and Bernier who if need be could throw them but they can also actually play hockey

@TGfireandice: Looking at Devils' roster on NHL media site, it appears Mattias Tedenby has been assigned to Albany to get Devils down to 23 player limit.

Nah I just think the signing in Anaheim wasn't official. It might just be completely made up. None of the competent reporters have said anything.

I can't believe we're having this discussion. Can Harrold not be sent down or something?

Looks like they really like Matteau

So no Butler, no Tedenby, but 2 goons and 8 dmen.

Good looks.

@TGfireandice Assuming that roster is correct, I'm guessing Tedenby will be recalled when Butler clears waivers/is assigned to Albany or is claimed.
