Um, just a question... But what is with Jared Knight this year? According to eliteprospects he has been limited to only 4 games? Injured?

I'm pretty sure he tore a hammy. And then he may have come back too soon and he re-aggravated it

Don't worry Malcolm, you will be the first black goalie to win the Vezina

You're 25 years late, Fuhr won it in '88.

It's a shame Khokhlachev is playing in a league he completely dominates. I would have liked to see him stay in the KHL or make the Bruins roster.

At the same time it's good for him to get more ice time and get his confidence back if it took a hit at all in the KHL. I also prefer him to play in NA than for him to get comfortable in the KHL. I think he's eligible for the AHL next year and will be able to develop further there. Not a chance he'd make the big club this year.

Chris Bourque is our 3rd line LW and on the 2nd PP unit. I like his chances

he did tear it, and tweaked it- Boston is going to be taking over all things on him which is a great thing...also, I'm not a diabetic but he is and that is an issue according to some I have heard from here and there and everywhere

Not sure what one has to do with the other. We have other players that can fill in on the 3rd line and we could bring in a free agent still. Don't see the point in rushing Koko especially considering he didn't really light up the score sheet in the KHL. I know that's not all that matters but I really don't see the reason why this would be necessary.

Having the organization take over Jared's medical stuff is a great thing. Its better to have a pro dealing with his injuries than an AHL club with their own sets of doctors.

I hope he can heal soon because he's probably my fav prospect we have.

Here is Kirk Luedeke's latest Bruins prospect report (Jan. 17). This bi-weekly report on the B's website is as good as it gets. The most comprehensive, informative and current updates on all the Bruins prospects that you can find.

This edition has features on Dougie Hamilton and Harvard RW Alexander Fallstrom.

If you haven't yet seen this series you are in for a treat.

Find it here: http://bruins.nhl.com/v2/ext/media/2...ect_Report.pdf

I think Kirk is doing some wishful thinking in believing that Nathan Mackinnon scored the empty netter in the scrimmage.

Seth Griffith leads the OHL in scoring

Seth Griffith is powering along. From the B's prospect report:

Though Griffith’s Knights fell a spot, the forward’s game has
only been on the upswing. Through January 16, he led the OHL in goals
(29) and points (72) and became the first OHL player this season to hit
the 70-point mark.

Outstanding.

Info is a little incorrect though. He led in points but Reid Boucher led in goals on the 16th with 35

Not totally directed at you, but since these prospect things started, if there is something that fans don't like, it seems Kirk gets the crap for it whether here, on twitter or elsewhere.

I've talked to Kirk many of times and can honestly say that I could only wish to be able to pull 10% of the info from my head that Kirk can. It's amazing the info he remembers/knows and will always be the first person I turn to for info.

While Kirk puts together all the prospect outlooks (and you can tell by the sub-title it's his work) he is not responsible for the entire piece. A close look will tell you there are other people covering this.

I can assure you, he didn't put together the news and notes section, which in turn means he didn't make the Nathan Mackinnon comment. (or some of the others in previous articles)

We are all losers here without Kirk posting info like he use to on these boards. At least we have pieces like this that we can still follow

Could you guys give me some info on :

Alex Khokhlachev, Malcolm Subban, and Torrey Krug?

Trying to figure out how far from the NHL each of them are and if they are worth keeping them in my keeper leagues

Thanks for any help
