At the right price I'd definitely take him back, and many would let bygones be bygones after he helps us win a few games. We need center and wing depth until Adam gets back, and some cover if Butler or Tedy can't cut it (we would know by the time Adam gets back if one of them is a bust) And we still have the assets to make a trade for another forward if needed or picks.
So if cheap, really no reason not to bring him back.
Just be careful what you wish for. If Gomez signs and sucks on ice, don't ***** about how Lou shouldn't have signed him.
While there would be some in that scenario, I don't think there would be TOO many. Mostly because of how little his salary would be and how easy it would be to dump him (waivers, albany, whatever). Of course, we sign Gomez and he sucks, people will complain that we didn't sign ______ instead of trade for ________. But that happens with any move.
