Nope, the wings have enough PMD on the team right now, what we lack is a Defensive Dman. Smith while no defensive dman is a lot better in his own zone than Schultz, and he'll still be able to QB our powerplay. If it was over the next 3+ years then Schultz becomes a much nicer piece.

Considering how the Sabres are built and what they would look like without him, Marcus Foligno can stick. Without him, they aren't much different than the team that got destroyed by Boston last year. He makes a huge difference in that lineup. With Ennis, Hodgson and potentially Grigorenko, the obvious Calder picks don't make much sense for this team.
