and Therrien have said multiple time that he wanted a heavyweight on is team so if things get ugly, the renfort will be near
Would've been pretty nice if they somehow grabbed Steve MacIntyre, I know he's a bad hockey player, but dress him just against clubs that have known goons, and Therrien would be at his best. I don't share izzy75 pessimistic way of seeing things though, about our toughness, we might not strike the fear of god in anyone, but we won't be known as pushovers either anymore. I'd say instead of being the least 'tough' team in the league, we might be middle of the pack now, which is a nice change.
Please stop. Orr will destroy anyone on our team. Best to leave him alone.
Different style of fighting, if you look at the video of the Prust Vs Moen fight, and actually all of Prust's fights, he moves around a lot, and forces the other fights to move aswell, Orr fighting is basically standing there and bunching. Moen being bigger has a better chance.
It's going to be a short season no matter what toughness the Habs have, all I care about is winning the draw for 1st overall draft pick.So if the Habs finish last the better their chances of getting the 1st or 2nd,Johnathan Drouin or Nathan MacKinnon,Sean Monahan.Win,lose or draw there is little to no chance of winning the SC,so go for the best player available is my choice. If the Habs end up trading Subban then make it to Columbus, get him out of our division and get their three 1st round picks for PK.
For those who are saying that Prust isn't a good fighter, you're wrong.
Go on youtube to see Prust's fights. He's a hell of a fighter.
Prust is a good middle weight but not a heavy. He will fight them but he will lose......
and for those who think Orr can't skate and blablabla, Tortorella used him in end game with 1 goal lead when he was with the rangers. He's not a rocket like Pavel Bure but is not that bad. Would love to have a legit heavy that you can rotate with White....
I wouldn't trade our bottom six for theirs. I actually think our bottom six will perform very well for us this year. On paper, we have a better bottom six than we have had in years. No laraque, no weber, no darche.
I'm not sure I would trade my bottom 6 for their's either. But god I would love to have Prust's buddy, Rupp, in our line-up tomorrow. And us having a good bottom 6 doesn't mean that Toronto's sucks. Orr is a role player, when they don't need him they'll double-shift someone else, that's all, Orr is still usefull.
