Maybe because he's missed so much time to injury that his body isn't broken.

If you aren't going to be serious, why not just ask for Crosby, Malkin, and a 1st?

Make that a 50 mile pole for Habs. Terrible value for a hig end defensmen like Subban.

Good player but I don't think it's a good idea to have PK in our locker room. I'd pass

Well we said we've been looking for a winger to play with Plekanec and Gionta. According to me, Hossa's the perfect one to complete that line.
But as we know, Galchenyuk is starting the season in Montreal and might end up just as good at that spot. No need to lose Subban at this point.
So, although I find that deal interesting, I'd be passing on that offer personally.

I'd take PK with that deal (if you swapped Harrington with another player), Montreal fans wouldn't budge though.

that's the first name that came to my mind when i saw the thread.
Neal+ for Subban
Neal proved that he could produce with an elite level center.
Subban is already a top pairing defenceman.
Basically, I do not see a deal happening between the 2 teams.

Replace Hossa with Leddy and they would consider it.

I don't think either side does this. Subban is a great defenseman and Montreal would want massive overpayment before they even consider moving him. Even though they haven't signed him yet, they do not want to lose him.
As for the Sharks, Vlasic and Demers are key players in the Top 4 for the future, with Vlasic being Burns partner and Demers hopefully taking over for Boyle. I doubt they would want to jeopardize the team's future by trading both of them.

Jets / Habs proposal
Subban, Plekanec , Gionta
for Kane and Bogosian
or
Subban, Plekanec, Gallagher or Kristo plus a 2nd. Maybe even through in Weber if Jets are short on right D

Jets get hosed here.
EDIT: Was Subban missing from the OP, or was I just blind? Closer value, but I still think the Jets decline.

Those are my two favourite teams and I wouldn't do it from either perspective. MEL is perfect complement for San Jose's offensive defensemen, whereas Montreal needs PK's explosiveness and excitement. Demers has huge potential and is a major part of the Sharks future and Weber isn't needed. Vlasic just doesn't fit perfectly with Montreal and while Demers is nice, I'd prefer the risk-reward of Subban.
Neither side does it, however fair the value is. I love these teams equally, so I am unbiased.

I love Vlasic on the Sharks, I honestly think neither team does this, both need both plays too much to part with them.

Not that this proposal is that bad and I'm a fan of Subban...But when was the last time a team traded their top 2 value players in a single trade?

As a Hab fan I'd want Pouliot and Harrington.
The thing is other teams would be willing to pay more and having better trading pieces that suit the Habs needs, better.

Not bad
imo:
Subban=Bogosian
Plekanec+Gionta=Kane
Value is good but Jets won't do it just because:
-Kane+Bogosian aren't going anywhere anytime soon. Faces of the Franchise of the future
-They definitely do not need more 2nd line centers because they have plenty.
-Jets don't want aging forwards. They are looking for future players/young guys.

Not a bad deal but the Sharks need Vlasic's defensive game far more than the offense upside Subban would provide. Had they not dealt for Burns, I could see this having greater interest from their perspective. Montreal would likely refuse either way. Too much potential in Subban to move him.

You won't be in the locker room. How about you ask Montreal players what they think of him in the locker room? Oh you mean you don't know what they think? Why don't you want him in Pittsburgh's locker room then?
Ridiculous.

Throw in someone better than Weber and it's an easy yes for me.
