Still early, I do remember one mock draft for 2012 a year out had Schmaltz and Ebert in the top 10, but still.....

If we have 3 top 10 forward picks I'd wet myself.

That mock draft looks very out of date...I don't think Keegan Iverson is currently ranked that high.

That list looks pretty outdated. I'd say about half of those kids are still considered to be first rounders.

It's just a year away? Some people like myself are already looking at the 2015 draft. Any scout would tell you that, you can't just look at the upcoming draft, have to look at the drafts past it just as well.

We can certainly look at it, but we all know that the rankings will change dramatically over the last year and a half. A year before the 2012 draft we would all have had Ebert in the top 5.

One European in the Top 20? This thread might give a better indication:

Also like Eiserman and Gersich better than where you have them at..I think both are better than Milano imo..

Demko is too high. Kid is solid but I wouldnt have him where you do. Possible top 10 range for him, but thats my personal gripe with goalies as it is to difficult to rate them with skaters.

Keegan Iverson will take some heat for his u17 performance, but he still has more upside than a few of those kids on the list. Again, he is playing in the CHL and has the size right now to be an NHLer. He needs to get more consistent and get that confidence needed to be a player, but I think he still deserves a top 10 spot...likely 9th or 10th imo.

Pretty bad draft year for defense so far from this age group. DeAngelo is a late 95, but outside of Glover, there really isnt anyone to really even talk about yet as a top 45-50 player. A few will rise, hopefully Wesley being one of them, but at least there is some solid forwards that could go pretty highend.

Yup, Clarke is a phenomenal prospect with off the top hands, shot and potential. Skating will come.

sorry my man, I never saw this response until now...

if I had to make a top 10 to 15 list, obviously mine is going to be different then it would have been 3 months ago...

1) Blake Clarke
2) Anthony DeAngelo
3) Nick Schmaltz
4) Shane Gersich
5) Sonny Milano
6) Chase DeLeo
7) Shane Eiserman
8) Jack Glover
9) Keegan Iverson

14) Chris Wilkie
15) Dylan Larkin

I probably forgot a few kids.

I hate rating goalies in with skaters so thats why Demko is lower.

I think Iverson and Godbout have a ton of raw skill and potential to be big risers for this draft year. not a great year for defense and it shows...should be a decent year offensively though as Clarke and Schmaltz should be the top prizes with Gersich right behind.
